Pizzini Wines

We arrived just after lunch, which we had spent at another winery, were told that we could only do tasting if we did the tasting experience with nibbles, we made it clear that we only wanted to taste wines and weren't interested in food, and that we were going to buy bottles of wine (we know and enjoy Pizzini's wines) The gentleman at the front kept trying to push us into the experience, without listening to what we were saying.it felt as though because Pizzini's wasnt our first choice for the day we were being pushed aside. A bad experience.

Our second stop at the King Valley region was at Pizini Wines ~ Italian at heart inspired where we were warmly greeted by Karen; Mario and Isabelle. Seated in such a warm and welcoming environment, Isabelle presented us with some tasters olives; caramel popcorn; chilli popcorn and bread sticks and presented us with the wine tasting experience!

Isabelle was extremely pleasant, accomodating and provided alternatives for the individual pallet. We enjoyed hearing about the growth of the Pizzini family, their passion and commitments to their winemaking dream. The surroundings were nice to.

We were lucky to also have a friendly chat with owner Fred and hear about his experience and innovative ways of continuing business during the pandemic.

We truly enjoyed our experience at pizzini. Purchased a few bottles of wine at the end and couldn’t resist buying the caramel popcorn + chilli popcorn ~ thanks for the lovely hospitality and looking forward to returning and trying out the cooking school.

Beautiful selection of wines, well looked after by knowledgeable staff (and their friendly dog). The platter was generous with great variety. Despite wishing initially there were more lunch options, that was unnecessary, the wines and location were more than sufficient. Will book as a priority for next year/season

We, all 35 of us, just had the wonderful opportunity to attend a virtual cooking class.
Fresh produce and wine delivered to our homes.
Katrina was our chef and managed to wrangle all of us via zoom, we even had the privilege to speak to founder Alfredo and gain valuable insights to the magnificent wines they produce.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.thank you Pizzine wines!

An excellent Italian style winery situated in the King Valley.
We chose the $10 option which gave us a selection of 5 standard wines and one Beautique wine. (The $20 option you can choose 8 wines from the list)
We also purchased a Antipasto plate to accompany our tasting which cost $30.

Fantastic sit down wine tasting experience with Ricardo this morning: lovely wines at a great price point.

We did the surprise food pairing prosecco tasting with Ricardo and ended up staying for an additional wine tasting. What an amazing experience expanding our wine education. Ricardo was so charming, knowledgeable and thoughtful and made the experience memorable for my husband and I. We will be back!

What a sensational winery. Our tasting was made extra special by Ricardo who was so knowledgeable and friendly as he presented such outstanding wines.

Incredible wine selection and the most well thought out platter to accompany. Highly recommend the ‘special and rare Italians’ tasting and best of all they have lively grounds and a sand pit to keep the kids busy. Heaven!

A cellar door experience second to none! The most beautiful surrounds and wonderful tasting experience. The staff are wonderful and non-pretentious, taking care of you just like a family friend. Left with a fantastic haul of Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio, Nebbiolo and dessert wines to enjoy at home!

Waited 10 minutes to be served upon arrival and no one attended us after 3 staff passed us by, so we ended up leaving.

4 of us went on a Thursday morning. The ladies had some coffee and cakes while we had the estate wine tasting. The cakes were great, the service friendly and welcoming.

We went in search for good Nebbiolo and Sangiovese and we were not disappointed. Brandon who led us through the tasting was very knowledgable and took the time to understand what we liked and recommended some fantastic wine.

We decided that an antipasti platter would enhance the tasting and we were so glad we ordered it. Very tasty and a great accompaniment to the wines. Needless to say, we left with a few bottles. Looking forward to visiting again later this year.

This was the first stop on our winery tour, using the electric bikes and we could have stayed all day! Big thank you to Robert for the experience - he was knowledgeable, entertaining and just made our day. The wines are amazing and you can find something for all tastes.
Also, thank you to the gentleman who helped us out late Sunday afternoon with a last minute purchase of 6 bottles of the best Prosecco ever (soz - we didn’t catch your name!).

We had an exceptional wine-tasting experience with Chaz - absolutely outstanding! Pizzini is a 'must-see' winery in the King Valley. Chaz was an incredible host, getting to know our palates and suggesting wines we might like - he was spot on! All three of us had different tastes and Chaz catered to each of us seamlessly. He taught us about different wines and grapes and harvests and glassware. It was a wonderful, personal relaxed experience with a delicious tasting board. This was, by far, the best wine tasting experience I've ever had.

We enjoyed all the wines, joined the club and look forward to drinking the first dozen we are taking home with us. The wine tasting is a true value for money.

An outstanding tasting experience. My wife and I shared an Everyday Range and an Estate Range tasting. That should have been 14 wines but our host, Brad, threw in a couple of others for comparison. He made the tasting even more enjoyable with his tests and games which exposed our ignorance and educated us in a fun way. Our favourites were the Verduzzo, Forza di Ferro Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Il Barone and Sav Blanc.
