Pizza Works reviews
19 Let me tell you something. There are two types of pizza in this country. Gourmet wood fired wanky pizza and Aussie pizza.
This place is clearly a very good example of Aussie pizza. Two pizzas for the price of a wanky 6 pack of beer.
If you want a traditionalè Italiano experience, head up the road to Da Pinos for a $30 pizza the size of a dinner plate. For extra laughs, ask for a “Hawaiian with egg, extra garlic”
This place is reliable, cheap and non judgmental.
The management of the place has changed and it really shows. An okay pizza if you're desperate
Our absolute favourite after trying many in blackburn north. Always provide great service and delicious pizzas.
Great pizza including gluten freebases.
Always good quality - assuming you can make your order understood over the phone
Not good.i did not like the taste.too sweet.its like they poured a lot of sauce and very less meat.this is the second time i am having this experience.
Just got served raw chicken. Very poor service when I went back to complain.
Will never eat there again.
Great meals and great pizza! Delivery always on time and when they arrive the food is never soggy. Great customer service as well over the phone!
Great dough base, generous topping serves, and most importantly, it's not drowning in grease. The staff here are also very friendly, and overall, it's great value for money.
Best pizza's and pasta's in the Doncaster Boxhill area. Best marinara pizza ive ever tried, f of flavour and no fishy or washed out taste. Carbonara pasta is rich and creamy, best pasta in the area. Other pizzas are delicious but the marinara is definitely stand out from all the pizza places I tried. Also price is very good, not expensive.
On first impression the people who run this shop are honest and try to do right by their customers. They don't skimp on topings and my kids ate their slice each but no more. However they are lacking training to deliver a product that can be labelled an authentic pizza. The dough was similar to Domino's. I would suggest that they send one of their chefs to Italy for training and then they may have a chance. For now I won't be in a rush to come back
Pretty good and have been eating there for a few years. Not the best half/half pizza though so room to improve on with new staff.
Called in to order my delivery and had an absolutely lovely encounter with one of the women working there. She informed and helped me find a better valued option for my order, was polite and just very helpful all round. Haven't had a more pleasant service in a long time:)
Very good place friendly and make a great pizza! It's the only place I get my pizza from, to people who see this review why not support a decent local business such as Pizza Works in Box Hill North!
Ordered a Pasta, and i have to say one the worst pastas I’ve had from anywhere. I’ve had canned pasta that was better than the stuff they served up. Basically ground beef (Dry as hell) thrown in with packet ravioli from Coles and that is it! Disgusting
A hidden little joint in Box Hill North, with great quality food and even better service. Their range caters for everybody, with vegan and vegetarian options, chicken parmigianas and a wide selection of drinks. Definitely recommend checking this pace out, as you won't regret it and will be back for more.
Such terrible service. I phoned asking if there was a particular ingredient in their pizza base as I was anaphalactic and I was told no. Its confidential. I tried to explain what it was and If they could check and he told me no i am too busy i cant help you. Such poor service. Way to make some one feel ashamed for having an allergy.
We ordered a pizza and it was served hot and delicious in 5 minutes.
What an absolute service!
The massive pizza size is a plus!
You gotta try this place out.
Great pizza, the gourmet range (try the Chorizo, with rocket) are great the traditional are also excellent.try The Works.fast, really nice people, good value. Sponsors of local women and junior footy club!
