Pizza Forno reviews
19Horrendous customer service at the waterfront festival. I saw the man who was running the truck be really awful to a customer. He was laughing at her and so rude. He had forgotten to cut the pizza and didn’t believe her. She ended up turning over the pizza because he kept denying it wasn’t cut. He made a fool of himself because she was right and he hadn’t cut it. I ended up ordering elsewhere.
Not even open when it says it's meant to be, very disappointing, have to walk 40 minutes to a different place
Been once and was ok. Tried ordering a second time online again, as I arrived for pick up I received a text saying my order was declined and my refund would be issued. I got the refund, but no explanation. Went elsewhere. Tired giving them ago another handful of times over the months but always shut, run out of food or won't answer their phone. Very inconsistent.
Pizza Forno is always closed or nothing is available! So many times we have ordered on Uber eats and the order is accepted. Yet 15 plus Mins later it gets cancelled.
We have called at 6pm many times to be told they are “sold out of pepperoni” … seriously ridiculous operation, if you would even call it that!
They need to improve their food truck business as it’s giving the franchise a bad name. Running out of most pizzas (only vegetarian & margarita left) by 6: 30pm, right on dinner time on the main day of the Waterfront Festival. Worse still, not communicating to those waiting in line for up to 25 min, so they only find out when they go to make an order. They could have put a simple sign on the truck to advise everyone…not good enough! Then having to line up at another food truck for 25 min and wait another 20 min for the food. Finally got to feed my family, no thanks to Pizza Forno. We noticed they closed the truck by 7pm, while hundreds of people were still lining up at other food trucks. What a missed opportunity for this business. Many people in line were complaining about them closing so early without another pizza option. Hopefully the Waterfront won’t let them return next year.
Legit better than a pub meal and half the price. I travel far and wide to explore the world of parmas, this little pizza place is a hidden gem. A regular customer here.
Didnt answer phone after taking order through menulog then cancelling order, first time order and the last.
My favourite place to go when in Melbourne. Con and the crew do a fantastic pizza, and friendly service to boot. Highly recommend
Wowweeee. Went down and took advantage of their amazing “parmageddon” offer, and right off the bat was met with a polite and genuinely enjoyable phone call when ordering, followed up with some of the friendliest service when picking up the food.
Now on to the goods, this Parma was BIG, however contrary to most pubs and restaurants when you get a bigger Parma and the taste just isn’t there, these guys knocked it out of the park with tender thick chicken breast, top notch sauce and some of stretchiest cheese I have ever had.
Can’t wait til I get the chance to go back, these guys well and truly deserve the business and I am going to be repeat for sure.
Thanks for the feed!
Best pizza in a long time. Last night we did take away (Covid mandate). We had "The Lot" no capsicum. Con was friendly, pizza was ready on time, 13 inch, plenty for 2, $15 and delicious, yummy, and all eaten, no hard outer crust. Absolutely recommended.
I asked for a garlic bread not a garlic pizza which was uncooked. The bbq meatloves base was undercooked an drowned in oil which hence all my toppings fell off the top when I tried to grab a slice. The maggaretta lacked flavour massivly also you advertised 1.25l drinks but don't even stock them in your store. The store is dull an grey not sure if just swapped over to new owners but this was appauling worse pizza I have ever had also way over priced with the worse family deals ever. Pick up your game.
Me and the mrs got some pizza and a couple of parmas last night! Food was AWESOME and the customer service from Con was even better! Definitely recommend and will definitely go back
Delicious pizza very tasty, thin crust just how I like it. Probably the best pizza joint in Wantirna.
Amazing!
We ordered three pizzas, one margarita, one meat lovers and one vegetarian. All were delicious! Nice and crispy and the sauce itself was so full of flavour.
The staff were super friendly, this is definitely be our go to pizza place from now on!
Great fresh made food of all sorts, Love the chicken breast and chip the best ever, thanks guys!
Absolutely disgusting!
Dough was so undercooked you can put your finger through it!
Sent it back and the same with the second one
Never again and wouldn’t recommend
I’ve tried the margherita, meat lovers and the spaghetti bolognese. All have been really tasty and at a good price!
Great food and fantastic service. Pizzas were flavoursome and delicious. Just found the best pizza shop in the sth east.
Evening of January 23rd, vegetarian pizza, that was an experience in itself! Stuffed so well and cooked so right, served at very right temperature, it was a pizza worth having again. Had been so long, never had a pizza so delicious.
Would recommend to everyone (y)
