Pizza d'Asporto

Not been to this place since Covid. Has gone totally downhill.
Margherita pizza had far too much tomato sauce, which was more like passata from a jar. Base was crispy like a biscuit (olive oil added to the dough?).
Indian pizza "chefs" should go back to making oily curries.

It was amazing, the best pizza I have ever had in Melbourne. Really nice people and excellent prices and quality.

The service here is fantastic, the manager (I’m assuming) is always so hospitable and the rest of the staff are great too. They have really traditional Italian pizzas which I’m usually not the biggest fan of (please don’t come at me - something about patches of mozzarella) but I do appreciate the authenticity of this restaurant.

I discovered this place when I looked for a quick bite near Jawbone Sanctuary.

We visit here often with friends, some of whom are from Italy. We love the good quality pizza.

It is a thin crust, Italian style pizza. Mozzarella options have a good chunk of fresh cheese.

You can get interesting beer on tap.

I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for good pizza.

Many businesses lost their quality during pandemic. This is understandable. However Pizza d'Asporto improved with great beer on tap and microbrewery selection. Still strong.

Holy wow. I've lived in Williamstown 3 years and finally made the effort to order pizza from Pizza d'Asporto - what have I been doing with my life? Hands down, the BEST pizza I have ever had.

I never do reviews but this place is amazing - best pizza I've ever had! Has the number 13 (saliccia porcini) and it was soooo good - would definitely come here again to try the others.

D'Asporto is delicious! Best pizzas, excellent calamari, arancini to die for, and we always receive glorious and charming
hospitality. We recommend this wonderful restaurant a hundred times over!

Great Napoli style pizza, never fails to deliver. Williamstown is our preferred shop and service is always great.

Had dinner tonight with my 3 young chiildren, hubby and I were both very impressed with the warm /friendly service from each of the sraff. The food tastes so fresh and authentic, like there was a nonna in the kitchen. Would definately recommend it.

Yummy! We're always happy with their pizza. The quality of the ingredients is very good. The pizza is super thin in the middle but also has a nice fluffy outside crust part.

Sadly it's time to say goodbye to what was once our favourite pizza restaurant. After one unfortunate experience and some feedback directly to the restaurant, there was no acknowledgement at all.
It was still worthy of going back, but this time our order was collected by another person who ordered 2 of 3 of the same pizzas to us. After about 45 minutes of waiting the mistake was realised, our order was filled and apologised to several times. During this time we asked if we could return the desert we purchased back to the fridge to avoid it being spoilt, not expecting but hoping it may even be swapped to a fresh one as we were waiting outside with it for 45 minutes, but this didn't happen.
Along with the apologies, we were told that all the pizzas will be made again fresh, but that wasn't the case. Only one was freshly made, and the other two were luke warm and happened to be the two same pizzas from the order similar to ours, and had been sitting out all this time. I'm sure a very rare experience, never the less, unfortunate and extremely disappointing to realise the true value of your custom. We appreciate people making mistakes, but they need to be owned and rectified, not passed onto the customers. Talk is cheap, not interested in buying cold pizzas and a long wait.

It was past 9.30pm on boxing day when we arrived and they were closing soon but were willing to serve us and let us dine in house with a smile. Great authentic pizza with fresh and quality produce. One bite and it took me back to Napoli! Must try, highly recommended.

We've gotten take-away so many times and loved it so much, but tonight was the first time we ate in, and the pizza, salad and dessert were even more amazing. We can't wait to come back for fresh pasta. Staff are always friendly when we pick up our orders and were fantastic this evening. The absolute pick of Williamstown.

First time here after recently moving to the area. Food was fantastic and the service was amazing and very friendly. Will definitely be back! Pizza and pasta were both superb.

Stick to the pizza. It's what they do best. Pasta was average and had a "generous" serving of 4 prawns.

The taste is great ingredients are sourced out well you can feel the difference in their Pizzas, the pork was great.

Frankly best pizza we ever had. Friday night has become pizza night during lockdown thanks to those guys. Very friendly couple that runs the shop and is truely engaged. Also great icecream and panna cotta.

Had the best wood fire pizza ever in Melbourne! It was heavenly! Must try for all woodfire pizza lovers!
