Pizza Boy reviews
44Recommended! Delicious Tandoori sauce in chicken tandoori pizza & comes with side dip cacik. King prawn pizza is loaded with prawns, goat cheese and pesto. Margherita is also very yumm
One of the best pizzas i had in melbourne cant complain, the crust, the topping…just good
Pasta didnt qualify to the same level, as i had fettuccine calabrese it was just ok.
Can say that they serve the best pizza in the area. The quality is consistently good and delicious. Staff was willing to take responsibility for any issues that arise, making sure that their customers leave happy. Awesome.
Pizza boy is the best pizza in Pascoe Vale. Such lovely staff and they never get my order wrong.
They were 5mins late one time and gave me a free garlic bread!
Delicious pizza too.
I ordered 2 pizzas! I got one, cause they stuffed up the other one. Then told me to wait for the other one that wasn't even getting made.
He thought I said cancel, which I didn't, but I was standing there for 50 min in total.
Didnt get an apology at all.
Terrible service from the guy with long hair.
Need new management!
Ordered a sweet chilli chicken pizza for the fam, the sour cream and chilli blend was tasty and really easy to tolerate, and its not a common pizza flavour at other pizza stores.
Shoutout to the staff there for their friendly energy, especially the guy with the ponytail.
I ordered 2 pizzas and chips via Uber eats. Unfortunately the driver got lost so the food was stone cold on arrival. I appreciate this wasn’t the restaurants fault. However when we went to eat the bbq chicken pizza the taste was revolting. The chicken definitely wasn’t fresh and had a pungent taste and smell to it. We had to throw the whole pizza out after spending $20 on it. Being chicken we didn’t want to take any risks. The Hawaiian and chips were fine. There are so many pizza shops in this area, that you really can’t afford to go wrong with standard pizzas. Unfortunately we won’t be back and not in a position to recommend to anyone. Total cost was $53 for 2 large pizzas and chips. Very expensive for what you get.
Best Tandoori I ever had, A must try
A tip for the owners: please open late hours as its is needed for late night food cravings
I have been a regular customer for the past 1 year spending on average between 65-70 dollars a week here. Being so regular I’ve looked away at the continuous drop in quality and the randomness of the quality of pizzas being offered here. Today though unfortunately it was not just the bad pizza only but the terrible customer service! I complained seeing that the pizza was burnt and overcooked. Instead of being apologetic the individual calls one cook who then calls and another to tell me I’m wrong! Being reminded of being a regular customer didn’t seem to bring any apology forward. I’ve always tried to support neighbourhood businesses but this kind of attitude is difficult to work with.
Fantastic local pizza and great service. Surprise package was the calamari which was incredible and not what you would expect from a pizza shop. Highly recommend!
Been coming here on and off for about a year. Consistent pizza and well priced. Will continue to visit.
Great pizza, pasta and chips/wedges. Will recommend to any family & group of mates for a nice dine-in and take out option, thanks guys
Ordered the bbq chicken pizza and they gave me the classic bbq chicken pizza and it was not good at all the chicken tasted watery pizza had very little flavour and needed more bbq sauce do better
Ordered a pizza over the phone at 8: 20 for my younger brothers who were really hungry the guy said it will take about an hour which we were fine for, it 1 was 10pm closing hour and the pizza never showed up and every restaurant we can possibly order food from was closed
It's a pretty good pizza especially when you consider the fact that they are priced in the $12-18 range. I ordered the Sujuk/Sucuk, Veggie Delight, and Margherita pizzas. All were very good pizza pies and better then what I was expecting.
The ingredients were fresh, the cheese was better then many other places that are situated in the same price point and it was piping hot even when I arrived home with my order (although I do live a short drive away).
The crust was a semi-thin crust and I personally would have liked it a bit crisper but we all have different preferences. The sauce seemed a bit on the sweet side but still very good.
Overall, a very well-priced pizza. And you get more then what you pay for. This was my first visit and it won't be my last.
If youre looking for a local pizza joint that doesn’t overcook it pizzas to the point where the cheese is solid, this is it. It seemed like a hard find in the northern suburbs, trying almost every pizza joint here.
The ingredients taste fresh, delivery was fast, really good base, not too thin but not too bready. Definitely our go-to from now on.
Was ok few years back now a price increase with deals that aren’t great. Average flavours & ingredients. It’s last option for me when my usual is closed.
Loads of ingredients, not a bad crust but it barely supports the toppings. I'd prefer less ingredients for some spices and better flavour on the base. I finished my pizzas but with my own seasoning like herbs and sauces.
Great ingredients but very hit and miss. It's starting to get sloppy. Consistency is such a problem with many takeaways and restaurants. I have enjoyed the pizzas here in the past but now it's going down hill. Either the oven isn't hot enough, the pizza needs more time, the ingredients are vastly undercooked or it's varying staff methods.
Previously I had very undercooked prawns on one of the pizzas and it really upset my stomach before I had realised. Had to recook at home to make safe to eat. I recently tried the pizzas again and the same problem, undercooked toppings and uncooked dough. And now with the toppings slathered on the dough can't cook and you get a sloppy pizza. It's a solid average pizza base to begin with and ingredients but if the food isn't cooked properly and the toppings are too thick it all goes to waste.please head cook and/or staff - try your pizzas and get the quality control and cooking methods under control. I say this in the hope there's good food again!
Again I'll say great ingredients but plagued by inconsistent and at times potentially harmful cooking practices.
I'm skipping this spot for a while. Back again to try later in the year.
The pizza is so yummy, the crust is awesome and staff is nice. My only problem was that i saw one of the staff receiving money from a customer then straight after that used their hands without gloves to kneed the dough in a pan. Other than that it is yummy pizza place.
