Piyada Thai (Croydon) reviews
39Best Thai food I've had! Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff, beautiful restaurant and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend going there:)
Very generous amounts of delicious and reasonably priced food that was served by happy smiling waitresses. Would definitely recommend.
Brought take away - very tasty, looks like a nice place to eat in. Busy for a Monday night. Service was good, but order the away before u get there.
Amazing food and service.
The meals are always so delicious, hot, and the table is served all at once which makes it extra nice. The staff are all friendly and helpful. This is our favourite Thai.
I enjoyed the food. Others in the family reported theirs was a little too salty. Very reasonable prices. Friendly staff.
We picked up takeaway from here tonight, standard orders of chicken pad Thai for husband and prawn pad see ew for me with roti bread and peanut sauce thrown in for good measure. Pretty generous on the seafood front on mine and very sizeable prawns. The noodles in the pad Thai were a little dry though
When my usual Thai restaurant was closed tonight I thought I'd give Piyada another try as I haven't had it for about 5 years. So disappointed, very salty and no Thai flavours at all. Massive chunks of carrot, cabbage and tomato through the dishes of stir fry, curry and fried rice. I will not return.
Worst Thai food I’ve ever had
Meat tough and sauce straight from a jar
Curry puffs and spring rolls are the smallest imaginable
Give it a big miss
Really very nice meal. Nice service. The only thing I didn't like the carrots in the curry were to big and chunky and a bit to many carrots. Would go back again. The curry was really enjoyable. The rice was cooked perfectly. Dessert was yum.
Such delicious food! Highly recommend the Pad Mamuang (cashew nuts) and the Pad Thai. Very lovely and friendly staff too
The food is delicious, tasty and almost authentic, they serve the food usually very quickly as well.
Most of curry dishes and stir fry dishes that we tried are consistently tasty and good quality ingredients.
Dined in recently and enjoyed a meal with my wife. Authentic Thai cuisine at it’s finest. Best we have had in a long time. Thank you for great service. Will definitely return. Recommended!
Very Very nice food was excellent and so was the service, very nice people to deal with, im going back for sure.
Had been thinking a while about eating here and finally did. Unfortunately not anywhere near the best Thai food I have had. Just okay. Always rank places on would I go back and if so what for. Hard to find good restaurants in the area but won’t be returning.
We have been regular customers since Piyada Thai opened its doors, always had a pleasant experience, friendly staff and amazingly delicious food every time. However, the past few visits our meals have been way too salty, have been disappointed as we loved coming here.
Been hanging for Thai, and was really disappointed. Satay skewers were dry, and not edible and Pad Thai really had no flavour.
One of the better Thai restaurants in the area. The food is great, the staff are helpful and the prices are reasonable. Don't forget to book though. Good take away also. Thanks
Overly sweet food that doesnt taste authenticly from Thailand. Sorry guys. Please put much less palm sugar/ sugar in. Use better quality ingredients
After years of eating at Piyada unfortunately we have been left very disappointed and wont be returning. The quality of the food is outstanding however they continue to fill their take away containers HALF. Prior to COVID this did not happen, however it has still continued. It is good practice to fill the containers to the top and not just halfway: (
We are regulars at this restaurant for takeaway. Tonight was terrible, no satay sauces were put in with the meal, chicken was overcooked and coconut rice wasn't cooked. The sweet penang curry chicken sauce was watery, just really disappointing as we would normally rate this high!
