Pitchingga Ridge Alpacas reviews
8 The owners Jean and David are such a lovely couple - we had a bit of an odd request to have a couple of alpacas at our wedding at a local winery, and they were sooo accommodating to our request.
We visited the farm where they allowed us to interact with all their cute alpacas and choose exactly which ones we want for our wedding.
On the day David and Jean cleaned and transported the alpacas to our wedding where our guests were allowed to interact and take selfies.everything went perfectly and could not thank them enough. I would highly recommended to visit their farm when down on the peninsula.
This is a lovely experience for the family. Jean and David Daddo are passionate about sharing their knowledge about alpacas with guests and facilitating a hands on and up close experience. Our little 5yo had a wonderful time and was gently supported by the Daddos to gain confidence to interact with the animals. The shop is also great for gifts and mementos.
The owners are very friendly and nice people, and there are a handful of cute alpacas on the farm.
Lovely experience down in the Mornington Peninsula, definitely worth checking out. The Alpacas are soooooo cute and the owners are lovely and welcoming.
Great farm with lots of alpacas and a very friendly and knowledgeable owner operator. Opportunity to hand feed alpacas and watch them in action. Also a lovely shop with produce using alpaca fleece. Would recommend - family friendly - call owner before hand for visit and allow an hour.
This family owned farm is so awesome! Lots of cute Alpaca staring at you without any movement! It’s a good place for children and family activities, also many weddings were held here! Owner is so friendly and helpful in terms of exploring another world of Alpaca, you will definitely learn a lot about this cute Alpaca! Many different souvenirs made by Alpaca product are available here with reasonable price. Hopefully I can buy one when I have a big garden. Tips: avoid windy weather as Alpaca becomes very nervous at that time so it’s hard to have close interaction with them. Finally, admission fees applied here.
What a wonderful day we had getting introduced to the alpacas, feeding and learning about them. Jean and David shared their time speaking and showing us around the farm. We would definitely recommend a visit at the farm and the little shop with the alpaca wool products.
