There is another pie store in Kyenton! I had the chicken and leek pie, plus a sausage roll. Both were exceptional, gold standard in baked pastry. In the store, there is a whole lot of other produce available as well. Also available are cooking classes. The only issue is that there is no seating to consume the scrumptious food. However there is a fair bit of public seating out side.
If you have mobility issues, the architect of this building was not thinking of you. HOWEVER, the staff have thought about this, and will help you with level access around the side.
All that remains to be said is "do yourself a favour" and give it a go

The braised beef pie is delicious and the service is so warm and friendly. Wish they’d bring back the sausage rolls.
Love this place

Like all the best adventures, I stumbled across this extraordinary baker and supplier by accident and I’m overjoyed that I did.

I’m a massive pork pie fan and I say with total sincerity that this was the best I’ve had anywhere outside England, and even then it would beat most of those. They render the lard for the pastry onsite - it’s that level of attention to detail.

My fiancée had the chicken and leak pie and gave it 6 stars out of 5.

And then there’s all the other heavenly locally made and international produce.

Buy local, give yourself a treat, visit Piper St Food Co.

We swung by this cute little bakery on our way back to Melbourne from a getaway. Bought the pork pie, chicken pie, beef pie, Bakewell tart, custard tart & duck parfait. Everything was delicious and I wish we purchased more items! First time trying a cold pork pie and it was not what I expected (in a very good way). The Bakewell tart was hands down best I’ve had. Duck parfait was also delish. If only we live closer to this place…

Fantastic place clean and modern shop with ample parking. Some of the best pork pies l'v had. Also real old-fashioned pastes that took me back to my childhood.

I was thinking I should balance the glowing reviews with something less positive but having tasted a traditional pork pie and a chicken and leak pie, that is now not possible. Ever since tasting my first pork pie around 50 years ago bought from a butcher in Laverton (Melbourne) who is long gone I have searched for a worthy replacement. The ones sold at David Jones in their Bourke Street store in the 1980s and 1990s when I worked in the CBD were good, but not as good as those from Laverton. Today I tasted one that reminded me of that wonderful first experience. The cheeky hint of ginger (I think) gives these little treats a certain liveliness. I also found the chicken and leak pie, also eaten cold to be scrumptious. Piper Street Food Company makes delicious pies. Next time we'll make up a nice green salad and finish our picnic with the yet to be tasted sweet tarts. The price of these delicacies allowed us to provide amply for ourselves. Will I drop off those pork pies to my friends later today or will I tell them that the shop had a run on and we could not buy the extra two for them?

Great shop, fabulous food, so very tasty with all you could need to go with what you purchased. Helpful hint's re heating, storing, products packed carefully. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful owners passionate about their product, rightly so.the area they live in and really good food. We ate our food then we thought of photos, deliciously too late

Everything from the wonderful food to the friendly staff is top notch. The lovely couple who make the food and run the shop put their heart & soul into the business and it shows in the quality of food on offer and their beautiful nature. I cannot fault anything. If we could rate it 11 out of 10, we would. We will be back!

Picked up a quiche and a couple of the beef pies today to have for dinner. Wish we had bought more as it was fantastic. Can't wait to get back to Kyneton

It is always a pleasure to walk into this establishment. These guys are passionate about their products, they have spent a lot of time and effort perfecting their produce. My favourite, the traditional pork pies are extraordinary and worth travelling for.

We ordered an Easter feast. Not only was it delivered but it was tender, moist and sumptuous. The flavours were tongue tingling. Thank you for contributing to our Easter and Christmas. Wow and thanks.

The most delicious gluten free brownie I've ever had. The owner told us she makes her own almond meal flour and adds a touch of cardamom. My partner had the (non GF) pork pie and said it was delicious too!

A fantastic place with wonderful take home goods such as jars of piccalilli, pâté and pickled red onion. All gluten free and delicious! Can’t wait to come back!

Attended a Charcuterie class here with Chef Damian. An absolute delight, with hands on prep of Paté en croute, Boudin Blanc, Duck Liver Parfait and salmon rillettes. Damian is a great teacher and the 5 hours were an absolute delight. The store is a wonderland of fabulous food and is well worth the drive from Melbourne. As an aside, they sell what in my view are some of the best pork pies I've tasted, with local pork and an outstanding hot water pastry. Brought 36 of the little devils back to Melbourne yesterday, for friends and family.

The most amazing food, hands down! We had Piper St Food Co.cater our wedding over the weekend. Bryanna and Damien were amazing! They gave us so much time, recommended what glassware we needed, and even provided us with amazing quilted paper napkins! The food was generous, delicious, and completely what we were going for! There was so much food! No one left hungry, everyone loved the food! Our guests had never had food like it at a wedding before, and neither had we. The wait staff were attentive and very professional also - they had every base covered. If you're looking to cater an event within the Kyneton area, don't look past Piper St Food Co!
