This is a wee bar, done right. New fav spot for a few bevs. Popped in for a couple with mates late on Saturday night. So comfortable, awesome tunes over good quality ambient speakers. The $12 pints of Pale were just lovely. And the service was just perfection.

My partner and I found this place after being refused to the Newmarket tavern all because we attended knotfest, well we found pub oak it was an amazing wine bar, the owner was very knowledgeable about the wines and beer she served us. This place does not sell food however you can bring food from local restaurant or your own. It’s such an amazing wine and beer bar. Its very cosy great location for a date it has a very intimate feel about it. Reminds me of wine bars from Tasmania! Support this business it’s amazing

Great little bar with a well stocked fridge of beers and wines. BYO food for a great hangout spot. Very cosy atmosphere with a beer garden and some upstairs rooms which can be booked for small groups. The owner and staff are all very lovely too!

Really enjoyed it. Great service and food. The pasta was home made, which makes all the difference.

Lovely spot for a quiet drink with friends or on your own. Wines by the glass on offer never disappoint and big selection of craft beers in the fridge. I love that it’s dog friendly, so I can bring my pup Ruby with me. They don’t do food but you can bring (or order) food in.

What a sassy little place this is in Flemington (just near the border of Kensington). Came here for a small function that was held at the rear of the property. Perfect spot for a
casual catch up and try out the wine. The Delamere Rose was excellent but there is a wide choice of beers and ciders as well.
Inside there are some lovely chairs to sip your beverage or a large square table that invited you to read a paper, play a game of cards or talk to other patrons.
This place is delightful and would highly recommend. It’s kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible and has a toilet at the rear (which isn’t wheelchair accessible).
Parking can be tricky so watch your time on the side streets. But if your riding your bike or catching public transport which is right out the front - you’ll be fine.
Note that there isn’t any food sold on site.

Love this place, would come every night if we could. Very friendly owner, accommodating to kids with books and toys to keep them distracted while the shots relax and have a drink. Simple but functional outdoor area.

Beer and wine selection is wide ranging and full of some fantastic beverages.

We visited regularly until we sadly moved away, but can highly recommend
