Piknik reviews
31 We had a lovely spontaneous lunch. Eliza greeted us with a friendly and polite personality.
Recommend the Rubien sandwich and bruschetta.great coffee definately needed the extra shot
Stopped in at this old servo for lunch PIKNIK came highly recommended and it was easy to see why. Excellent food, friendly service and a great selection of wines. Grabbed loaf of beautiful bread while we were there.
5 of us booked for breakfast and no one left disappointed or hungry. Very friendly staff, meals came out on time and they were all delicious. Recommendations from our breakfast are the crepes, spicy scrambled eggs and the Angus beef burger. Don’t just drive by this place make sure you stop and eat.
Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere with great food and great service.
Best to make a booking.
Highly recommend.
A converted service station, basic and rustic unlike the food with limited range of the most delicious ice-cream. I keep going back here and insist on have my birthday breakfast there. It's licensed with a good range of wines.
Very rude staff. Wasn’t busy, was told all the tables were booked which wasn’t a problem. Was waiting for takeaway as owner barked at us telling us we aren’t allowed to sit down anywhere, having them rolling their eyes and very rude staff. I had a sore back and she told me to wait in my car. Wouldn’t want to support somewhere where we didn’t get any respect or good customer service at the minimum. Left feeling disgusted.
I read the one star reviews and they all seemed to be from a long time ago! This fits in with my experience. The food is excellent and so is the coffee. The service was very good and friendly. If this shop was in Point Lonsdale you’d have to book a year in advance.
Delicious food and super friendly service. Piknik has something for everyone! It's a cafe, restaurant, bottle shop and a larder with all their delicious preserves and relishes. The prawn pasta on the specials board was so good - perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Greek lamb had us speechless, the moment it hit the table the smell of it was intoxicating and it didn't disappoint. The kids got spiders for the first time! I love that this place serves spiders! Highly recommended!
Great Cafe my partner and I came across on our bike ride. Nice selection of food and drinks. Highly recommend to stop by on your travels around the area.

We really love this place. Very friendly staff, but the main reason is that the food is amazing. My favourite is the risotto, but it's all good. Good coffee too. Highly recommended.
What a great spot! The staff are welcoming and friendly, service spot on. Food was delicious and served in good time. Bonus points for serving a burger with a steak knife! Will def return, thanks for a great feed:)
The food and drinks were decent but the experience was disappointing. When we went into the main part of the Cafe the staff ushered us out and then when we tried to get a table we were rudely ordered by another staff member to wait outside in the freezing, windy air because ''there was too many people inside'' even though there was plenty of room. Then when we ordered some simple food it took about half an hour; we hoped that it would arrive this century. We ain't goin' back there again. See ya!
Great location out in country Victoria.
The setting is beautiful, especially the outdoor seating area which is technically enclosed and heated with a wood fireplace.
Delicious food, presented well and great portions. The Piknik breakfast was excellent.
Friendly and attentive service, and a great time was had by all for Mother’s Day lunch.
My partner and I went I with our 18month old son, first of all we were asked if we were locals, which is fine, we told the man we live in Point Lonsdale, he obviously didn’t believe us and asked to see our drivers license for the address (which shows Point Lonsdale).
Then he said they don’t have high chairs for children because of Covid. Mate if you can wipe a table after adults sit at it, you can wipe a small high chair.
Lame, lazy business and excuse.
Great place for a bit to eat or coffee, service is fast, friendly and the food is tasty. The Ruben sandwich is a winner, great mikshakes. Good selection of products for sale as well mustard, chutney etc. Plenty of seating, including large bench seat tables for bigger groups.
Fresh local produce, excellent service. Fantastic coffee and ice cream. Handmade chutney and jams. Definitely put this place on your list of places to visit for brunch when in the Bellarine Peninsula.
My partner and i had breakfast today did not taste write now im sick and my partner has been vomiting all afternoon what are you doing this place used to be really good not worth the money you are charging. Bye bye i won't be back
L was told about this but my Aunt will be coming back lovely toasty and according to my husband a really good milkshake but could be slightly stronger.
