Alfresco ‘casual dining’ is an absolute mess and I would avoid it at all costs. For seating it’s literally a free for all, where people just watch for others to get up to grab a seat. No table numbers are taken for the orders. We ordered a pizza and had to wait an hour and 30 mins to get it, cause the waitress kept delivering it to the people on the table who sat and ordered after us. Plenty other estates to enjoy in the area.

PS: Shoutout to the curly hair waiter, he was kind enough to grab our pizza from the kitchen and give a complimentary drink when I asked for a refund. Thanks mate:)

Outdoor dining, Sunday lunch, Jan 14.
Zero service. Clunky QR code with “transaction fee”… for what? No intro to wines. Expensive. Uncomfortable tin seats. Pasty chips. Rubbery overcooked barramundi. Scialatielli (seafood pasta) was good. Food arrived all at once - no antipasto then mains. Had to ask for table to be cleared. No pouring. Order confirmation links don’t work (tax receipt?). Nice outdoor setting. Indoors noisy polished concrete floors.

Staff were great, really helpful. BUT not disabled friendly. Lots of steps in places and at least one outside area can only be accessed via a step.
Avoiding steps requires crossing a 'cobbled' area and a small but significant slope. Again, thanks to the staff trying to help us with the mobility issues.

I recently seen an article from Evan Jones raving about a place that feels like a world away and I had to try!

Let's just say, this place did not disappoint! I was delighted with the variety of grappa, cocktails and spritzes. The Rosso Gin's my favourite. This was place was hard to fault cause the atmosphere was stunning and staff were beyond knowledgeable and friendly, I shall be back soon! Thank you Evan.

What a beautiful afternoon - we walked in on a Sunday and ate in the outside area without a booking and had a wine tasting inside. The wood fired pizzas are a must try if you’re staying for lunch. A beautiful winery

We recently booked a function and all my guests were blown away. The staff were fantastic and accommodated all dietary requirements, the venue was stunning and the food delicious. Highly recommend a visit!

Had the barramundi, it was fantastic, food came pretty quickly despite being very busy. Nice limoncello spritz. Very impressed with how calm the bar staff were considering how busy. Will be going back

The most beautiful venue! Had my wedding there recently and got countless compliments on the venue as well as the food! I dealt with Michelle who was professional and incredibly talented and helpful in transforming my dream into reality! Could not recommend this enough, 10/10 for me! We recently had our wedding at Pietro Gallus Estate and it was beyond perfect - all of our guests raved about it! The food was generous, delicious and gorgeous. The wine was so tasty and flowed all night. The staff were so friendly, so accomodating and made our day go so smoothly. Anna in particular was so lovely - we cannot thank you enough. The actual venue is stunning - perfect for our small wedding of 50 guests - with beautiful views, lots of elements to the space which we loved as guests could move around according to vibe, and a great space for a dance floor. We couldn't have had a better day. Thank you - we will be recommending you to everyone!

We had our wedding in the cellar door two weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect. The wedding coordinator, Michelle, was exceptional to deal with from the booking enquiry to the actual event itself. We worked with her and tailored the whole menu to suits a LOT of dietary requirements and they made all the changes we needed. The night was the best night ever and guest was so happy with the food and service, and the atmosphere was great! We had a small wedding of 30 and each and every one of our guests has commented on how amazing the food and venue was. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for their wedding venue:)

We dropped in for tasting of grappa, as we weren't familiar with it at all. Adam was great, answered our questions and looked after us really well, despite being very busy. We tried the grappa and the wines, stayed for food and had a lovely time in a beautiful place.

We had a wonderfully delicious lunch here. We enjoyed every mouthful. The staff were efficient, professional and very friendly. The venue is beautiful. We’ll be back even though we travelled from Warragul.

Had an amazing lunch on the terrace, the view and food was absolutely beautiful. Staff were amazing and very knowledgeable.

I will be coming back frequently! What an outstanding and beautiful estate with amazing and attentive staff. I’d highly recommend coming here and taking your friends and family. The food was fantastic and the chef selection was on point. Not to mention, dietaries we’re not a concern and if anything, there was clearly thought behind the alternative menu. Attentiveness and care was clearly part of the ethos.

Couldn’t recommend this winery more! The most stunning venue that had a beautiful mix of country and modern style. The staff were so friendly and had such a family feel. Went for a Sunday lunch and stayed on because we didn’t want to leave.definitely going back and making it our regular spot!
