Fantastic staff.very friendly. Big open space and lots of light. Not noisy so easy to chat with your group. Great outlook to the bay.

I like to tell myself I have a balanced meal here. I devour a carby garlic bread (solo) and then enjoy a fresh nourishing salad. I've eaten at The Pier countless times pre frying myself at Port Melbourne beach and there's always plenty of delicious options to chose from. It's not cheap but your experiencing a million dollar view and you can't put a price on breathing fresh sea air in a friendly modern establishment.

Unfortunately our online order for food got lost, ok i get it, it happens, no great problem. When we flagged down the waitress she was very helpful but it still took an hour to get fish and chips. When my wife asked for tomato sauce it was delivered with a demand from the chef to pay $1, we returned the sauce on principle. The chef obviously just doesnt understand good service.

Prices way over the top $52 for an eye fillet. $95 for a standard bottle of wine served elsewhere for $45. Can buy for $15 at Dan Murphy's. Nothing remarkable about this place. Shame because its in the perfect location. Somebody needs to do their homework re food/ wine prices.

Very nice good service food Ok Creme Brulee maybe 6 or 7 out of 10 toffee not crunchy on top. Coffee disappointing flavour.

We had our work function here and the girls were very polite especially Hailey who's Irish charm was infectious. She almost had me singing Dirty old town. Thanks Hailey

Asked for our credit card before being seated outside with my elderly mother, wasn’t too happy about that but I complied. I wonder if ‘everyone’ is asked for their credit cards before being seated outside? The food came out and it was tasteless. Won’t be going back here, overrated.

We had our niece's 21st Birthday cellebrations here last night, great food, service and atmosphere we will definitely be back.
My 5 stars goes to Steve his service of pouring us ladies our drinks to taking everyone's orders for our meals then coming out later with my Niece's birthday cake singing happy Birthday with his awesome voice topped it off
The best service we have ever had 100 % credit to you Steve you definitely know how to do your job satisfying all customers
Also a huge thankyou to the friendly chef's and the Bar staff plus waitresses aswell.
If anyone is thinking of having a celebration here you definitely won't be disappointed.

First experience with this restaurant, It was amazing, I had a really good birthday dinner, the food very tasty, excellent talent with lovely service mind, 100% excellent and I will come back for sure

Many function areas to choose from & fully equipped bar to cater for all kinds of cocktails.

Fashion and chill place that have our lunch (dinner or get a beer would be more awesome). Have order the pork belly and chicken burger. Let’s talk about the pork belly, great skill with roast the pork that crispy skin with the juicy well done body. Especially the sauce, peach and apple with the vinegar (I guess), it’s first time I try this sauce that the oily time could be resolve. The other one, fried chicken burger, would more like South Africa style. Have a bite would feedback you many layer favor, the best burger in Melbourne!

Delicious food and friendly staff. We were also really lucky to be onsite when a patron at another table received his birthday. The baritone of the staff member delivering was amazing.

So much fun. A great place to take friends or go with staff from work. Good food, good drinks, not expensive. We even had a singing waiter.

It is a great spot with lots of seating options for groups from 2 to 102.

Very bad experience at the Pier restaurant on the 1st of Jan 2022. We were a group of 7 ppl, first of all food took more than 1 hr since we ordered which is understandable because they were very busy, but at least after that long wait you’d expect good quality food, and that was not the case at all.
Burger patty’s looked more like meatballs, tasteless, overcooked, no sauce, very dry burger overall. Chips were worse than the cheapest pack that you can find in coles or woolies. The fish and chips were also not crunchy how they’re meant to be. Above all that we paid a lot of money with no compensation what so ever.
Hope they improve they quality of food and service because it’s a shame for such a nice place in a great location.

I miss wood grilled pizza the second I get back to Australia I’m coming here first plus you get a bonus view of the ocean a great drink with the mates and a fresh hot pizza what’s there not to love! The staff are just amazing!
