Picture Moments

We attended Picture Moments with our Toy Poodle, Marmite. We had never had pet photography done before so didn't know what to expect. Marmite is a well trained 10 year old boy, but even then we were taking him to somewhere he wasn't familiar with, to meet someone we have never met, to carry out a series of poses, so we were a bit apprehensive.

Our experience was wonderful. Garry was so kind, and patient with Marmite and so professional. He had some props and some ideas straight away - some worked, some didn't (Marmite doesn't chase a ball lol), but for any idea that didn't work, Garry had another one up his sleeve. We all had a really enjoyable time and were not rushed in the slightest.

After the photos were taken Garry advised it would take about 30 minutes to filter through his photos in order for us to choose our package. He had already spoken to us about the packages available before the photo shoot, but ran through a couple of things again just so that it was clear what we would be getting.

When it came to selecting the photos we wanted it was so hard to choose, all of the photos looked amazing, but we couldn't keep them all! Garry was wonderful, he advised we would be able to cull in multiple rounds. The first round was a quick flick through whereby we said yes, no, or maybe. Each got put into a different file. Once we had a series of Yes's and maybe's, he was able to filter the photos to show us 1 screen of similar poses which made further culling a bit easier, as we could see the poses side by side. We ended up narrowing it down to 8 pictures, then bringing 2 of the "maybe" ones back for a package of 10 including a canvas. You could tell Garry had done this several times before and choosing the photos took about an hour.

We were advised it would take 7 weeks to have our order ready. As it was fast approaching Christmas, there was a delay with the Canvas, but it was ready for collection on week 8 so really not a big deal at all. The appointment to pick up the photos was about 15 minutes. Garry ran through the photos and canvas with us to make sure we were happy with them before we took them away.

Overall, the quality of his work was superb and the whole experience was wonderful. I think it took about 2 hours 30 minutes in total for the whole experience. I will definitely go back and highly recommend Picture Moments to anyone.

We initially had a new born photo shoot with Garry but ended up going when our baby was about 4 months old. Garry walked us through what was to occur during the shoot and was excellent with our daughter. The photos have come up beautiful and the whole experience was wonderful and we will be going back in a few years to up date our collection.

Garry and Shirley were absolutely amazing. They made us and our two dogs feel very welcomed and comfortable during the whole shoot. We had a fantastic photoshoot experience with Picture Moments! We had our first photoshoot 4 years ago with our three dogs & as it was an amazing experience, we returned to have a second photoshoot with one of our dogs & three cats. Gary was very friendly, patient & always made us feel comfortable. He captured beautiful images of each of our fur babies, even the cats which is no easy task, as being cats they are often shy & reserved. We have amazing photos that we will treasure forever! We highly recommend Gary!

Garry was honestly incredible, he was extremely patient and kind and gave awesome creative direction to my friend Sarah and I and our two pups (Lamp and Roo). He allowed us to feel comfortable and we had such a blast (and he was so accomodating to the puppies!) Couldn’t recommend him any more!

Garry and the team were very professional. They were very gentle and patient with our little one week old baby. Garry made sure we had plenty of breaks to feed and that the room was warm enough! He didn’t even bat an eyelid when we had a little ‘spill’ on the floor when shooting some images with no nappy! Thanks to Garry and the team - we love our photos and will cherish them always!

We had a family photoshoot with Garry at his studio and we had such a fantastic time! Garry is very professional at his work. He was very patient, especially with the kids. I was so blown away by the beautiful photos Garry was able to capture of me with my two rescue cats. He was so patient and professional and was able to make my shy cats feel comfortable and secure in the studio. It was a lovely experience dealing with Garry and Shirley and I will treasure these photos for a lifetime. I have already had many compliments from family and friends on how beautiful the photos are.
