I recently took my chainsaw to this mower shop for repairs, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.

Waste of time and money. Partner took our mower in to get the starter fixed. Bloke asked for us to bring the blade in as it was out from the breakdown and charged us to put back in. Wanted it so he could “test” it. Mower was working perfectly fine and had just been serviced (apart from the starter). Don’t know what the definition of “testing” is because mower came back… won’t start. Went back to the bloke for him to review and said we have to book & pay for another job. Instead of telling us our mower was ready to pick up, how about calling us to tell us it’s not starting? Waited all weekend for a local joint to open because we wanted to support a small business and instead we got taken for the runaround. Don’t go here unless you feel like being scammed and watching grass grow as a hobby xx

The worst customer service and understanding of consumer law I have EVER encountered in my 49 years. Do not support this business.
There are plenty of reputable lawn mower repair businesses near by.use them.

The new owners have changed this from a place I would go to as a last resort, to my first port of call! They do a great job of repairs and servicing, and yet the prices are now very reasonable. They're professional and easy to do business with. The shop carries a wider range than before, and it's quality gear. You can see from the photos the lawn mowers, for example, are almost all metal, rather than plastic you get elsewhere, and yet the value is good. I'm so glad to have this shop nearby, and I take all my machinery there for service and repairs now. Thanks guys!

Don’t go there for service especially CHRIS the rude & arrogant manager. I made a booking the week before & called to confirm if someone is coming to pick my ride on mower tomorrow. Chris, who booked me in for the service said his shop could only fit 2 mowers so he had to cancel my booking & he didn’t know when he can fit me in. He said I either wait for the 2 mowers jobs done or go somewhere else. I asked to speak to the owner & he said he’s in charge & also said if I don’t like it then go somewhere else & hung up on me. What kind of a business is that? Well I wish he will never get any customers if he’s acting like this. Extremely RUDE. I hope the actual shop owner reads this.

New owner is friendly and helpful. I am impressed how quick their services are now, sometimes chains can get sharpened on the spot! My mower is a bit old and of an odd brand, only this shop was willing to take and to repair. Mower was fixed in four days & delivered to my door. I would recommend this shop.

Changed hands, think twice before going here. Really bad service, unable to service/fix correctly. Lied about what was done. My whipper snipper is running worse than before.
I was happy to give new owners a go but now looking for a new mower place

I have no problems with the new owner, same quality as John’s, and sometimes the jobs were done even quicker. My Honda self-propelled lawn mower was fixed by the new owner at nearly half of the price quoted elsewhere, good experience. I am happy and grateful.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT - Former owner John was awesome. The new owner is not. Left a 4-blade $500 mower there for service as I don’t have time to do it myself at the moment (I know what I’m doing). Got charged $180 (can you imagine getting charged 40% of the value of anew mower for a basic service? !? !) for basically an oil change and blades. And, to top things off, the mower came back with two “blades”, not four. When I write “blades”, they are two flat pieces of sheet steel. Not curved as the manufacturer recommends and not indented for the bolt hole. No sharpened cutting edge. Guess bullish# business practices will always get found out eventually… I will NEVER go back.

I’d previously used this place for years as I was always happy with their work. However it has changed hands since I last went there, and not for the better! Took my Mower there for a service recently; not only did they charge me close to double what it usually was for the basic service, but the Mower was almost unusable; I had to tighten a couple of screws they’d missed, & then had to get someone else to come & tune it, as it was running like a hairy goat!

It’s a crying shame; this place has had a stellar reputation for decades. If my experience is the level of their service now, I give it 12 months before they’re out the door.

Very disappointed when I got them to pick up my ride on for a service and $800 fecking dollars later got it back No call to ok such a high costm and still not working properly! I rang Aus Power Forest & Garden Bayswater. They came out to look at it free of charge took it away and it came back running brilliantly and clean as a whistle! They are now my go to for all things gardening.

The most disgusted service I had ever. Here is the whole story:

~4 Oct my gardener helped me to drop off ride-on and a Husqvarna chainsaw for service, both are working fine!
~6 Oct I received a phone call from them told me they have changed the spark plug and but my chainsaw was running half speed? ! They told me to go in to talk to them.
~8 Oct I went to there and they took me to the workshop at the back which is completely filthy and messy.
I looked at my chainsaw and discover it barely can start. The guy called Su said my 5 years old husqvarna chainsaw (originally cost more than $600) is dead. He then tried to sell me a $799 chainsaw with 10% discount? !

I refused to do so and tried to find out what happened to my chainsaw but they said my chainsaw was not working when I send it in! My point is they should contact me straight the way If my chainsaw was not working at the first place not after they done so much to it. Beside if my chainsaw was not working I would send it for a check out and repair not a service!

The most ironic part is they charged me $60 for servicing the chainsaw which they said it not worth to fix!

Apart from above, they also had a go at me over the phone called me illiterate and accused me for operate a chainsaw improperly even I have been use that chainsaw for the last 5 years.

The guys called Alan keep telling me the shop has been there for 28 years. Later on I found out it has been changed of ownership in the last few weeks. I don’t think it won’t last for long if this is the way they operate.

To sum up, changed ownership to unprofessional people result in rubbish service.

That was my first time and definitely will be the last.

Fantastic to deal with. Was going to go to the well known hardware store. So happy I decided to drop in and have a look at what they had. John even showed me how to change the tools on the brush cutter, including how to load the line. Going back for my next purchase.

Experienced very good service at this shop as they were extremely helpful in ensuring I received the correct part for my Whipper Snipper
Very happy with the results as it now works very well. It’s hard to beat Old Fashioned Service as it ensures you always return again and again.

I made an enquiry about having my ride on mower serviced. They refused based on the brand, fair call, but were quite rude about it and offered no form of assistance or advice. I ended up servicing it myself with zero knowledge and it was a piece of cake, I’m really not sure why they were so against it, must of been having a bad day I guess

Broken ride on mower
After finding a hammer in the middle of my lawn with my ride on, things went looking great
A simple call to pick me up mowers and it was all sorted
They came out and picked up the ride on, fixed it and returned it working better than ever
