Photo Production House reviews
26If I could give this company zero stars I would. The customer service and professionalism from the owner is absolutely shocking. I handed in multiple rolls of film and was told I would receive them in 2 days - I was waiting over 2 weeks. When I did receive the film it was only 50 photos when it should’ve been about 100 and he then told me 2 rolls were blank and refused a refund on the rolls after multiple tries. Other camera stores I’ve been all offered this because there isn’t a lot of processing with blank rolls. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere where your money is better spent and you get a good customer experience.
This company scams customers out of money. Would not recommend to anyone. Do not trust your photos with them!
Amazing for passport photos. Took their time. I wouldn't go anywhere else. So happy having found this place. Thank you.
Best film processing and amazing assortment of cameras to buy … also great customer service. So nice and polite. I believe the shop is run by one person. Sometimes very quick turn around sometimes small wait time but I’m happy to wait to support local Prahran business. So convenient having the shop in the area. Don’t know I’d do without this place!
I took photos of a beautiful orange sunset as a gift for my brother with a very reliable camera and my regular film. They came out grey and light washed, when I tried to explain that I was unhappy, the man in the store proceed to raise his voice at me and tell me "there's something wrong with you! ". And refused to try and remedy the issue. He was very rude and insisted that there was nothing wrong with the photos when they were grey. It has ruined what was supposed to be a very special gift, and I walked away quite upset with how rudely I was spoken to. Will never develop here again
I get my digital Photos printed here regularly. They do an excellent job and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable - I highly recommend this Photo Lab.
Very slow turnaround and messed up the developing, half exposing the first and last frame of a roll of 120 film. Would not recommend, try Peninsula Camera Centre, much quicker turnaround and they have never failed at developing dozens of rolls I have put through them.
Always does an amazing job with processing my film photos and very quickly as well! Recommend to all my friends
Applying for Canadian PR with specific photo requirements. Had Australia Post say they could print it and upon measuring was wrong. Same negative experience at Officeworks. Was a great relief finding this place, knew the specs exactly and wrote necessary information on the photos without being asked. 5 stars
Satya is a really nice guys and very professional.good quality and price. Lead Time pretty short
Best camera shop in town - independent places like this are hard to come by these days. Brilliant service and extremely knowledgeable staff.
So helpful! I went in to ask for help with my camera and they assisted me quickly. Saved my day!
So thirst guys do a good service. Prompt on delivery of what you get developed. Black and white takes a touch longer. But it’s understandable.
The scans can be a bit hit and miss, but still okay. I recommend, if scanning the negs are important, self scan to print.
They aren’t too bad on price. And it’s not a bad location. The guys who work here are lovely and nice. And happy to chat.
Nothing bad to say about this place. But it’s just not a stand out.
Terrible service. Takes weeks to get any film developed with staff that show no interest in their customers. Would recommend going anywhere else until show that they care about their customers.
Sold me a 28mm Nikon lens with fungus in it. I am an amateur photographer and didn’t know how to check, but didn’t expect to be sold a fungus-ridden lens from a camera store. Stay away from this business.
Tested many film labs and this one is definitely the best in Melbourne! Consistently produces great scans. Highly recommend
I had infant/toddler passport photos done here. I was so impressed how they knew how to work with children and how quick it took. I spent nearly 1.5hrs in Officeworks the day before and we couldn’t get one photo in that whole time. Even the post office said they were the best children photos they have seen come through and asked me where I got them done. Most likely to recommend around no doubt.
Called on Monday, picked up Thursday Arvo. Cheaper than I found elsewhere, good quality print and framing. Would go back again!
Worst place to get film developed, burnt my rolls and the one that didnt get burnt was scanned improperly.
These folks are the best when it comes to service helping to understand
how digital photography is printed properly
keep printing those photos
