Photo Color - Kodak Express

I visited Kodak express, Warringal shopping center to get a photo of reduced size. The shop order is attached.
I supplied my 6x4 photo and wanted a 2.5x 3.0-inch photo. I picked up my order and when I got home the reduced photo was smaller than I requested.
I returned to the shop and explained the error. They offered to repeat my order correctly. So, I left the incorrect reduction and my original 6x4.
A week later I returned, and they had the correct size reduction this time. There was some delay finding my job but when it was located my original 6x4 supplied by me was not with the reduction. I asked for it and was told that I took it with me. I stressed that I left it with the incorrect reduction last visit. Again, I was firmly told that I took my original 6x4. I said once more that I did not want to get into to an argument but I left my original 6x4 so they could reduce it and could you have a look for it. Once again, I was firmly told that I took it with me and to have a look at home. I replied that I do not have to look at home as I left it here. The younger lady that served me was having no part of it and said she did not need my 6x4 as they had it on file in their computer. I then gave up and said OK. I took my reduction which I was happy with and left. I will not be setting my foot inside this shop again. They have now lost my original 6x4.
Poor customer service on this occasion.

I have been going to Photo Color for 10-15 years albeit with only one order most years and sometimes longer between. On each occasion the staff have been very helpful and attentive, the gentleman did some marvellous retouch on one recently, and tint/colour correction on another a year back. Quality has been terrific on canvas and paper. Also for a graduation photo, great assistance selecting a pre-made frame with a mat and putting it all together - could not look better.

Had some new passport photos taken here but unfortunately when I sent them in they were rejected by Australian passport office as being of poor quality and blurred. So I went and got photos re-taken at Post office instead.
I returned to Kodak Store in Warringal shopping centre and explained situation, showing rejection letter from passport office and the photos, but they refused to give me a refund.
Will not be going back to this store ever. I do not recommend for anyone to get their passport photos taken here.

Been using photocolor for over 15 years. I'm a professional photographer and have been very happy with their prints. Professional quality that anyone can access.

This place did an excellent job of my baby’s passport photos, they took only a few mins and the results were perfect- staff are obviously skilled at working with babies. Took the stress out of getting this done completely.

I went there to get my passport photo taken. I was quite excited about it, but the person that served me wasn't interested in what he was doing. He barely said hello to me and looked like he was bothered by my presence. He took the photo without asking me if I was ready, walked away and said "come back in 10". He did not show me the picture and I thought it wasn't a big deal because it's just a passport photo, so I trusted if he was ok with it, it should be enough.
When I finally saw it after those ten minutes I thought it was an awful picture, but the guy was so unfriendly and I was still so happy about the passport thing, that I just left saying to myself it was time I had an ugly passport photo.
Well, the photo was so bad that it got rejected at the post office because everything was wrong in it. The flash was so bright and harsh, it changed a few features of my face. The alignment of the photo was wrong and the size of my head in the photo did not fit the passport requirements (it was too small, because it was taken from afar and not edited properly). I had to pay to get a new photo taken at the post office so I could send my passport application.
If you're in the area, do yourself a favour and don't give your money, time or effort to these people that have absolutely no idea what they are doing and that put less than the bare minimum effort into their job. I thought about coming back and asking for a refund but only driving there and back will cost me, and I got my passport in the end after retaking the photo, so I thought I'd warn others instead.

We went to take passport photos there. We are really disappointed with the photos we got. The worst photos someone could ever take. The person does not know how to take pictures and do the editing. Zero dedication to the work they do. Photography is an art. It should be done with love and passion. You can never see it in their work. Show some respect to the work you do. Don't be fooled by their low prices. You will get the horrible photos. You will waste your time and money. I never recommend this place. I wonder how they exist in business with this servive.

Update: I just read the owner's comment. The love and passion of photography can be seen in any photos no matter what kind of photo it is. I know the passport photo specification. This is not the first time I do it. I went to Australia post after that. They took nice quality and good photos. They took many photos and showed us which one looks good and help us to choose the good photos. You took the photos and never bothered to show us until you print it out and it came out terrible. My daughter look completely different on the photo. Please show some respect to the photos you take.

They are expensive and when we asked to take a photo it was not even edited. I am very disappointed by the photo I got from there. Please don’t waste your money by going there to take a photo.

Friendly service. It took a week to develop 5 disposable camera photos. Didn't mind the lead time as I wasn't in a rush.

Went here to get passport photos over two months ago for my two month old baby at the time.

They were professional and did a great job taking her photo - quality was great. It can be tricky taking newborn photos but they are equipped with a bean bag to make this process easy and stress free.

Went back to get some visa photos done at 4 months and they took her photo while dad held her up in front of a white screen. Again photos came out great.

$25 for 4 photos so definitely pricey for what it is, but would recommend them for their baby passport / visa photos as most other places like OfficeWorks or the Post Office are not equipped or have any expertise doing them.

The staff were very helpful but they desperately need updated equipment and software. We went in to print one picture, which cost $1.95, and the whole process took roughly 45 minutes. The Bluetooth on the computers didn't work, so we had to use the cable, this was very temperamental, so after some negotiating we eventually got the one picture transferred for printing, only to then be told that it would take 30 minutes for our single picture to be printed.

Such good service. Today I went and they assisted me as I had my toddler with me. I couldn't see myself sitting at the screen with a loud toddler!

Every year I have calendars made for Christmas gifts at Photo Colour - and every year the team there do an exceptional job! Not only are the calendars beautiful quality - the service is excellent and my family absolutely love them - they look forward to them every year. If your baby needs passport photos this is the vest place to take them.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience with Photo Color - Kodak Express. I usually get my disposable cameras and film developed here and always get quality results. Have always had my film back to me within 1 to 1.5 weeks which is so much faster than other businesses I enquired at previously.
Also friendly staff who are very knowledgeable in their jobs. Recommend this place for all things photography and film related.
