Love the energy and location of Phoenix Yoga Studio. The Yoga Teachers are just wonderful, professional and experienced. I have been a member for approximately 1 year. There is always events happening, lots to learn other than attending yoga classes. It is a realy community that brings people together in a very postive way. For my busy life being able to attend the Phoenix Yoga Studio regularly is a blessing.

I love practising yoga at Phoenix. The studio itself is beautifully decorated, providing a serene, relaxing & inviting space. The teachers are all friendly & knowledgeable, with good, clear communication & a great variety of classes on offer. And the Phoenix community is also very welcoming for people of all ages and abilities. I’m happy to travel 25 minutes from home, past a number of alternative studios, just to practise at Phoenix.

I cannot express how much I love Phoenix Yoga Studios! It's not just a place to practice yoga, but a true community filled with warmth and kindness. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed and supported by the incredible teachers and fellow yogis. Best Yoga Studio in the area. I have been going to Phoenix for the last 8 years and love the atmosphere and each class. A fabulous group of yoga instructors, with great knowledge there. Sanjay and his group of teachers offer many tweaks and adaptions, making you feel comfortable and non-judgemental. After each class, I feel rejuvenated and inspired. Very highly recommend it!

Phoenix is more than just yoga. The friendly atmosphere and spacious studio provide a space for meditative reflection. The instructors here provide technique advice to hone your practice.

Phoenix has been a long time favourite of mine, from the moment you walk up the entry stairs you're greeted with thoughtful decor and a friendly face (possibly also a studio cat). Sanjay and the other teachers offer a wide variety of yoga styles to suit everything you're after - yin, flow, ashtanga and more. I started as a super newbie, was provided with a supportive place to grow and understand what I was doing and even attended introduction to yoga courses where everyone is a newbie and the pace is slower and more about learning what each pose is, the transition between and why/what the pose is good for - definitely recommend.

I love finishing a class and continuing the zen state into the foyer where there is tea and a chat after every class. My boyfriend has come many times with me and there is also consistent (very respectful) male attendance at classes which is great.

The whole Phoenix Yoga Studio space and community is very non judgemental, only as spiritual as you'd like it to be and open to any body/fitness/gender/age. All the instructors are knowledgeable so let them know when you check in if you're new, if you have an injury etc and they'll keep this info private whilst providing extra cues during the class so you know any modifications to make etc.

Sanjay has created such a great space I completely recommend and hope you love it as much as I do.

After some 25 years of practicing yoga I must say that Phoenix Yoga Studios in Ringwood must be the best looking venue, well decorated instead of a basic rented room and even has showers and change rooms and a sauna. Teachers are also excellent and have a great knowledge base, especially Sanjay who owns the centre. Would recommend this studio to anyone who has ever practiced yoga in Victoria.

Sanjay is an experienced teacher who differentiates according to where you’re at, encouraging you to enjoy the process rather than race to the finish.

Love this place… my happy space.
It has embraced all my five senses. From the time I enter the place… The beautiful SMELL of incense, the decor with natural indoor plants are a treat to my EYES, the soothing but dedicated voice of the teachers are a motivational therapy to my EARS, my body embracing itself gently to the asanas is a FEEL good moment and finally the TASTE of herbal tea served after every class is a kind gesture from Sanjay. Very thoughtful.
