Phoenix Park Community Centre reviews
21Wonderful Wednesday morning craft group here. Friendship, creativity, connection and a cuppa. Learned Mahjong here years ago and on Monday and Tuesday afternoons can play with groups of others! So much on offer at PheonixPark. A great place to learn something new, improve existing skills and make new connections! The variety of activities here are inspirational! Great cohort of administration and teaching staff too! It's a wonderful light filled place where everyone is warmly welcomed! Come and join in!
Plenty of interesting activities at very affordable prices.
Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Good facilities, multiple functions halls, library, playground, cafe, fairy amount of parking
Full of arrogant parents unfriendly park
People think they own the park
Full of stuck up parents
Pleasant stop near Gardiners Creek trail for hippy style light lunch at the Phoenix cafe. Just have to find the small signs, it curves round to the park
I come here for their table tennis sessions on Monday Tuesday Thursday morning. Very friendly and lovely people.
While mostly senior, some of them are really good! Quite a few of them have competed (and won) in world veterans championships.
Can’t wait for the place to reopen (once covid restorations lift).
It's a great place for younger and older kids. Skate park, cafeteria and toilet facilities available. We keep going back there w my 10y old and 5y old
Best playground for the children. Very big and lots of fun.
Also great for picnics and birthday parties. Lots of grass area to run around. Also skate park and bike parks Lovely cafe for a snack or lunch
It's next to the library and a primary school also have toilets and a cafe with lots car parks and 1or 2 water fountain. Undershed sits, rooms for hire for parties.
Have only been to the centre to take my kid for immunisations, staff are friendly and the facility looks clean inside. Playground outside looks good, only negative is there are not many car parking bays on the community centre grounda and seems like the street has recently put in place permit zone parking
The park is a great place for kids, its lovely that there is a cafe nearby but the coffee is pretty terrible and the price is a bit steep for what you are getting. I would suggest packing a picnic.
Great atmosphere. Worth the visit if you are in the area.
Music group Thursdays at 1pm with the talented Adam Pivett, supporting the disability community. Also lovely considerate staff at the centre who listen.
Fantastic play ground for kids of all ages and sizes, has a skate park and the playground truly is amazing!
Very friendly space and stuff. Shezlong art classes are perfect for the beginners and people with some experience!
Amazing playground. Good ovals for running the dog around. Easily parking mid week but can get busy on the weekends. Contact the management to book function rooms. Lovely service from staff.
Fantastic adventure playground alongside excellent rooms for hire - perfect for family functions all year round! Don't know anywhere better to BYO party.
Great play ground for a child to explore, downside, the climbing structure is very closed off, so it can be hard to sit and watch your child, there are lots of corners and place the children can hide and not be see. There is a cafe right in the park, and a library as well to go into.
We like that the playground was fenced off making it safer for the kids and less stressful for parents. It has a swing for kids with disabilities and a lot of bridges and climbing equipment. We will be back.
Very good table tennis facilities with people playing regularly on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
