Phoenix Park reviews
31 Staying in my campervan.
Unpowered
All sites include power and water in cost.
$25 per night.nice hot shower.
Beautiful welcoming owners.
Definitely will recommend and stay again.
I called after hrs as a thick fog had set in.
The lovely lady on the phone was happy to help. Arrived to be greeted by Cam singing me a song about the fog.
I instantly felt at ease, and the last 2 hours stuck on the freeway was worth it to experience such wonderful hospitality.
The grounds were lush and beautiful.
Offering all types of accommodation.
Stayed at Phoenix Park Melb cup long weekend attended a wedding on site. Place was lovely. Gillian who is one of the owners of the Place is so friendly kind and goes above and beyond for the guests. Please consider staying at Phoenix Park Ballan either camping or great cabins on site, if you are planning a trip to Ballan/Ballarat.
Regards Anna & Family
We've hosted our event two years in a row at Phoenix Park and cannot speak highly enough of Cam & Gillian, and the space in general. Very well ran venue with everything you need for a large group of people! We've had lots of special memories at Phoenix Park & cannot recommend it highly enough.
Excellent Park This is our second year here Very easy in & out large site’s for big rigs Will definitely be back probably next year again Gillian & Cameron very down to earth people toilets and showers clean smell nice Power & Water What more could ya want apart from a beer or wine sitting outside by the fire pot Luv the place Well done guy’s keep up the good work
What a venue! I recently hosted a 30th weekend with 50+ of our friends at Phoenix Park and 100% recommend.
Cameron and Gillian are so easygoing and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Super quick to respond over emails.
The lounge area is great with lots of space, fireplace and lots of seating/couches. The large well equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking for our big group. Band room is fantastic - a large space great for live music.
We loved our stay here can't recommend it enough! Thank you so much for having us:)
Very nice bush setting, sadly let down by ageing facilities, lacking maintenance. Mixture of accommodation available.
It was perfect really. Even had a bath in the men’s restroom and very clean. Extremely large sites. Would have been 5 stars if there was a camp kitchen. (There was a separate building near the restrooms but used as a storage room. Would not take much to convert to a kitchen)
Another great stay. Love this park with its huge powered sites and bush outlook. Great launching place for all the quaint surrounding towns. We'll be back

I organised a Fortieth Bday for my Partner and a lot of family and friends joined to celebrate Pheonix Park aka Gillian and Cam. Made all of us feel relaxed and safe for all our family needs and requirements
also more than accommodating our needs of space for caravans camper trailers tents and not to mention the Awesome Valencia we all did not want to leave
I am still in Awe how the Owners went above and beyond all the way until the last minute to aid a perfect gathering with amazing memories
The entire facility was clean and a joy to be at loved the park.dams and general camping areas Not having to organise wood and fire pits all the way to Spit roast facilities was just a great time without all the stress.
Looking forward in returning asap.
Beautiful surroundings, quiet park with peaceful atmosphere, staff were brilliant to deal with, making sure our expectations were met with our group function booking. Awesome outdoor stage, function room and indoor communal area Thanks will definitely return
We made our booking at Phoenix Tourism Park and questioned if it was a Caravan Park as the website was amazing. We were guaranteed it was so booked for four nights. Owner was very welcoming and directed us to select a site to suit us- Perfect! Everything was as explained but the rubbish bin was overflowing and stayed that way whilst we were there. The toilets and showers were spacious but had not been cleaned for at least the week before we arrived according to another camper. We questioned this and were told they had just been done but when we inspected them the basin had obviously been cleaned but nothing else. We were told it wasn't a Caravan Park but an events venue. We stayed at this park for convenience but had to shower at our family's home defeating our reason for staying at a park. I appreciate the owners are trying to establish a new business BUT they need to consider the ones paying the bills now as at this stage we will not be returning.
Beautiful spot to camp / stay. Very well kept grass and park. Nice playground and trampoline for the kids! Super relaxed camping.
Wow, lovely park, lovely owners, we enjoyed our stay, our Kids rode their bikes, played at the park, felt a little like the 80s Thanks Cameron, Jamie and family
We recently got caught out in wild weather! Wendy and Jillian were kind enough to give us a safe place to park our RV until it blew over. Park was beautiful - very neat and tidy. While we didn’t get to stay long the customer service was A+. We look forward to returning next time we’re down.
Fantastic. We were a large party, and there was room for all of us to be together or apart. Very clean.
Fantastic outdoor venue perfect for motorcycle rallies, car clubs, weddings and functions. Wonderful natural surroundings.
Nice & relaxed, great for large (C19 tested, friendly) gatherings. Dog friendly. Basic but clean & perfectly serviceable dorm rooms. Ours was a double bed & a single bunk bed for kids in single narrow room, in a row of joined narrow rooms. Communal shower bathroom block. Again basic but clean & serviceable. Lots of oval space. Lots of trees. Lots of kids playground & entertainment.
Friendly, clean and inviting place to stay with a variety of accomodation and interesting owners. Excellent location for checking out the neighbourhood.
