Tom was incredible in putting together a routine for our wedding. He was very patient and kind in taking us through the lessons in the lead up. He instilled a ton of confidence in us which was a massive help on the day. We had alot of fun through the whole experience and would highly recommend!

Had my first lessons recently, had so much fun I'm that looking forward to them more and more every week. Parking is easy and schedules are flexible, fees are also straight forward and easy to understand, I would recommend a simple weekly membership.

Everything about the lessons are personalised and the instructors take the time to ensure you're getting what you want.

We had 5 private dance lessons with Laura before our wedding and I honestly couldn't recommend her enough! She was so so lovely, and we had so much fun choreographing our first dance as husband and wife. The rest of the team also seem really nice and fun. HIGHLY recommended!

Fantastic. I've always believed that dancing is good for the soul and dancing at Phoenix is so much fun. The teachers are professional and their energy is contagious. There was s a friendly and supportive vibe amongst the students to the extent that competitions don't feel competitive, they are just simply "fun" and fulfilling. Highly recommend this studio.

Learnt my wedding dance here with my husband, learnt a great dance. Great teachers and staff! Everyone friendly and helpful. Currently training to do our bronze medal in street Latin! Thanks to Miriam and Tom for their patients and encouragement!

Geoff and I have had the best time learning to dance at Phoenix Dance Studio since starting there just over a year ago. We've gone from never having danced before, to having the confidence to pull out some salsa, tango, samba, mambo and swing moves (to name a few!). On the weekend we had the pleasure of performing a Viennese Waltz and Cha Cha choreographed by Tom as our wedding dance. It was absolutely magical and we had the time of our lives. A memory that we will never forget. Thank you Tom and all of the other teachers at Phoenix for making learning to dance so much fun. We love that it is something that we can do together and look forward to it each week!

I've been taking dance lessons for the past two years. What a fun, fantastic experience to have achieved 2 bronze medals in Latin and Street Latin, as well as participating in the World of dance this year! I've been learning to dance at Phoenix Studios for just over 4 years. They've taken me from a complete beginner with no sense of rhythm to silver medal level in all styles - Ballroom, Latin and Street Latin. The venue is great - there's a nice big space for ballroom. The teachers can teach as well as being great dancers and they are all friendly and professional. The other students are friendly and encouraging too, even if we are in a dance competition. I'm looking forward to learning more at a great dance school.

I've been dancing at this studio for four years and there's just nothing not to love. The instructors are all first-class teachers: not just wonderful dancers but actually gifted at teaching, and the friendly, collegiate atmosphere makes it a joy to take a class there. They are flexible and open-minded, and as long as you're prepared to put in the work they will work with you to help you achieve whatever particular dancing goals you have. I've learned so much, and it's enriched my life immeasurably.

To all dancers,
Would you trust a coach teaching you from an odd book and adds ". I thinkk. " when she teaches you a move or asks other coaches for help? You decide.
Plus, her schedule is all over the place and she forgets how many classes you underwent with her (she said once I had no more private classes left in my program when I actually did have a last one. Basically my money was about to be flailing if I hadn't correct her.) I, in fact, corrected one of the dancing steps once dancing Waltz:/ Thanks for my being attentive to what the other coach "taught" her to teach me.
It's really expensive for nothing good, I tell ya.the atmosphere as a whole feels wrong.
Take an advice, don't get fooled and give yourself what you deserve better.
Some days I went back home depressed after a practice class.

I personally changed to Rio Studio for it's better:
SO MUCH CHEAPER, and genuine.
They won 3 awards from Australia's Dancing society (the only studio in Australia to achieve that) and some other award from DanceSport Australia. (they're well known of their lengthy time since establishment)
Their class is even ONE hour unlike other studios of 45 mins.
They even work more professionally since your first time contacting them, and email you forms keeping things professional, easy going, and simple.

I've been having lessons at Phoenix since February 2012 and absolutely love it! Great teachers, expert tuition, and the one-on-one lessons advance progress much, much faster. Learning is supported by fun and creative social events and competitions. I have learnt so many more dance styles than I ever anticipated!
