Pho Van reviews
38Best banh mi I've eaten. They fill it so good with all the toppings. New favourite Vietnamese restaurant
For a reasonably priced no frills good tasting pho, Pho Van is solid. The fried rice, broken pork rice and spring rolls are pretty good too.
Woeful service…said 10 mins on the phone…arrived said 10 mins.waited half an hour…only take cash to obviously dodge paying tax while the rest of the country picks up the bill…don’t give this place money
The pho here is sooooo good. I eat here at least once a week. The fried rice for $10 is also great. The place isn’t fancy, nor does it pretend to be but it’s family owned and operated and is really just great food at reasonable price! Must try if you are a local. It is cash only.
Best pho place in the area! Have been coming here for years since it first opened.
Although prices have gone up and food portions have decreased… it is still super affordable (you just have to order abit extra) BUT that’s the way of the world atm.
This place will forever be my pho go to & I’ll drive here from wherever I’m living for their food.
Pho Van. Location: Chelsea. Cash only Restaurant. Facility is Clean and Tidy. Customer Services is Polite and Professional. Food is Very Good. Average Cost Per Head: $17.00 per head.
Good broth on the pho, also got the chicken ribs which were freshly cooked and good value.
Nice pho, tasty and great portion. Service was friendly and the prices are standard for this type of place. Worth a look for sure.
Best place ever, taste very good, ENORMOUS BADONKERS GIANT size serving —
I recommend U to try “Pho Tai Chin” Size Large if u starving like you can eat in big size, even the table…. U will not regret it
Very kind staff, very nice experience, thanks
Food taste is just ok, depending days you come in, staff are very good though. I think it is a small family business. Price is really good too. Value for money.
Been around looking for quality Pho without the Springvale drive. Then I luckily get these guys in Uber eats. The best. Amazing flavour.
Very cheap ingredients. Waste of money not tasty. Shrimp and pork rice paper rolls had one tiny piece of pork and literally half a shrimp cut in half. I ordered extra egg for my fried rice and it came with a literal fried egg sunny side up on top of my meal which cost $3 lol. Sauce was obviously cheap store brought. Pho93 is amazing and prices basically the same.
The best Pho this side of the Yarra! Friendly service and great food! The Honey Chicken Ribs were amazing and the Pho (Chicken and Beef) was fresh, full of flavour and plenty of it. Easy to understand why this place is so popular with the locals.
Most delicious and authentic Pho in the area for sure. Their grill pork and fried chickens are to die for, sooooo good! Will come back for more.
Love this place.
Consistent value that never disappoints.
A regular Sunday night feed.
Try the honey ribs! Delish!
So authentic that they only take cash. You can order via Ubereats and Menulog if you need to pay via credit card. Best pho in the area, get the medium, large is HUGE
Delicious pho that's very well priced. I lived locally and always found the quality to be great, staff friendly and serving sizes to be very generous - the rare beef pho was my usual order. The no frills 80sesque diner feel, honestly it kind of adds to the experience in a weird way - but if that's not your jam, just get it takeaway, the portion sizes are just as big
Love wide range of Pho. Either you are meat lover, seafood favourite or vegan, you can find your good time here.
The Pho here has a bit more water and a little less ingredients than average. The taste is quite satisfying but not the best I've had. Though for the great prices, the overall deal is very attractive. Gets busy at Lunchtime and is the only Pho in the locality. They also serve fried rice and a couple of other items.
A hidden gem.
While it may not look like much upon first impression, it's a great little place. I think it's some of the best local food in bayside and comparable to the best Pho I've had in Vietnam.
Many options for Pho and rice paper rolls, (Also, can't go past the freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee at your table) very generous portions, very filling, for very cheap prices.
The food is always fresh, dishes and cutlery are clean and it's always been friendly, prompt service. Both takeaway and dine in has been a good experience here.
