Pho Tam Restaurant

Yummy and authentic food! We lost track of time in our conversations. And didn’t realise it’s already pass the shop close time. Store owner was so kind and didn’t rush us even once! 5+ star services.

We waited over 30 minutes for the food, while other table ordered 20mm items later than us got their food already.

Happy to come back every time I am in Melbourne! Pho's texture is soft and tender. Excellent sweet pho soup, and side vegetables are fresh! Prawn Spring Roll is nice too.

The staff was nice and the food was okay. But the fresh lemon drink was quite disgusting, my sister and I took a singular sip of it and couldn’t drink anymore. We ate the food and at the end of our service asked if we could take the drinks off the bill as we didn’t drink them at all (agin they tasted quite bad) and were told no. Paying $12 for drinks we didn’t have because they were horrible and being denied a refund was quite disappointing.

The portions were incredibly small for the price they charged. It felt like a rip-off, and we left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and hungry.

Amazing service and you can feel the love in the food. I have been frequenting footscray for vietnamese food for years now and after discovering Pho Tam recently this is my new go to spot. THE BEST!

Definitely a hidden gem! Staff are very welcoming. Ordered myself a prawn dumpling soup…. OMG! Flavoursome indeed. My dad ordered beef pho & it was HUGE & his words, very very good’ cheap eats in Ftscray is always a win!

I only go here for pho in Footscray! Their quality of pho and prawn spring rolls really is so good. Friendly service too and clean restaurant.

Classic traditional phó with quick and easy customer service. Huge serving sizes for a great price!

The restaurant was cold, and the staff didn't seem concerned about the comfort of their customers. It made the dining experience unpleasant.

I used to love this place, but after the ownership change I’ve eaten here twice and won’t be back.
Today I order the vermicelli salad with sugarcane prawn. The only veg was iceberg lettuce, and the sugarcane prawn was cold and raw in the middle. The waitstaff were also not that great.

Used to visit weekly, but since the owner changed last month, the broth was light without flavour, meat was sparse, no basil given, no lemon until asked, portion got smaller, no one could understand the orders, and got the orders wrong so many times. Definitely not going back.

I have been going to Pho Tam for over 15 years and it has been consistently good, however the food quality has really deteriorated and service is very poor just over the past month or so.

Not bad, the servings are huge - including the entrees, which are essentially a lunch item. Hot tea ready to drink as you sit.

Had pho and (humungous) pork rolls with peanut tamarind sauce. Lots of condiments, but no garlic.

Slight bad experience of eating while a wave of cigarette smoke gets wafted in the restaurant from outside. I lost my appetite.

Have eaten here plenty of times but the Pho has changed and doesn’t even taste like Pho. Really disappointed and won’t be going back.

Love coming too pho tam, always freindly service, tasty Vietnamese food at a great price. Lovely corner shop just like vietnam.

It was a bit quiet when we came in, but filled up pretty fast. It smells like it’s been renovated recently, but the food is nice. This restaurant cooks Vietnamese dishes, and the older guy waiter was super friendly and understanding which was really cool. He needs a raise.

Their Com Tam was presented well. There was a lot of rice, and the pork was soft and a little pink. The cucumbers and tomatoes looked and tasted a bit old, but the dish was still pretty nice. The broth that came on the side tasted good, too.

Mmhmm! Yummy yummy yummy! This place has the best food ever! Highly recommend authentic food mmhmm, can I get a hoooooyeaaashhhhh! Legit best place ever!

This place used to be nice, but recently came back and won't be coming back anymore. The food was super salty and there was hardly any meat or toppings in the noodles, and over priced for what you receive.

Incredibly fresh. Great portion sizes. Don’t let the homely appearance fool you these guys are the real deal.
