Pho Square Werribee reviews
20The best Vietnamese food in town. We've been looking for a decent, kind-of-authentic Vietnamese restaurant around Werribee and this little gem is the best so far. A bit small and slow but food was amazing.
I've been eyeing out this place for ages and finally just tried today. Service was lovely, the store was clean and the food was delicious.
Had the beef combination pho, sweet corn chicken soup, mixed spring rolls, crispy pork and prawn fresh rolls, and they were all tasty. Will definitely try other items in the future.
Had special BBQ chicken and pork rice, very tasty and delicious! Definitely recommend. Pho is also great! Friendly service and clean restaurant. Will be back soon:)
Probably the best Pho in Werribee. Reliably good, with reasonable price.
Very small in house seating.
Great food service is very polite and very good shop and treats customers amazingly im very happy
Wow, I just tried the crispy pork belly bánh mì, and not only was it delicious but the Vietnamese roll was AMAZING. I’m really now I’ve never had the proper Vietnamese roll before today after trying that. I see what the hype about the roll. Perfect crispy and soft texture. Tasted homemade.
Bún bò Huế and Vietnamese ice coffee is quite good, but again not freshly made meat in the Bahn mi and rice paper rolls. Really disappointing, no one wants yesterday's chewy non crispy pork belly.
Had pho here both crispy pork and beef brisket. Very nice meal. Good service and friendly staff. Has inside dining and very clean.
Love Bánh mì but this place is not consistent, sometimes it's delicious other times either the vegetables are a bit old or the meat is not freshly cooked.
Friendly customer service and clean. Ordered pho with beef slices and meat balls. Portion of food could be better. More soup than actual food for a quite a big bowl. Tastes is okay, but not authentic.
Very pleased with their banh mi roll as it's delicious and full of flavour. Their pho is the real deal as you can taste that the broth has been cooked the right way and not diluted with water.
I highly recommend this authentic vietnamese restaurant if your around definitely won't be disappointed.
Really good pho! It’s hard to find good pho, you can be left disappointed at times. But, not here! The broth was beautiful! Looking forward to trying their Bahn Mi next time. Will certainly be returning!
Had dinner here on Tuesday night. The meals were great and came quick
The pho was very yum and great sizing.
If you are a chilli lover, you’ll need to ask for fresh chilli as the chilli oil they have is sweet, not to much kick.
Will be returning:)
Everything we’ve tried so far has been really good. Love the crispy pork banh mi! If I could make a suggestion we would love it if you could add Bún bò Huế to the menu and also the traditional Vietnamese deli meat banh mi option:) looking forward to trying out more of the menu
Banh mi is great with full topping and sauce. Pho soup is big size and tasty, nice service and friendly staff.
Great and tasty Pho. Very warmly and friendly customer service. Reasonable price. Recommend family and friend come over and try.
If you blink you’ll walk straight past it, although that would be a sore loss to your taste buds. No one quite does “chicken soup” like the Vietnamese. “Pho Square” definitely ticks the box for that “Comfort healing nectar of the Gods” that is “Pho”. Fresh ingredients, “real” chicken breast (not off cuts), and that deep, warm stock flavour that soothes the body from the stomach glowing outwards. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE Their “Banh Mi”/Vietnamese rolls are delicious with a mix of fresh herbs, light dressing and filling of choice meat/vegan encased in a “Tiger” bread roll. The rice paper rolls are light and delectable complete with the peanut sauce, again different filling options meat/vegan. Friendly service and timely food prep, as well as competitively priced. All in all, this restaurant makes it into my Top 2 Vietnamese restaurants in Watton street.
Been here a number of time in the last two weeks, Service is quite slow, making customers entire order before yours, who were after you in line. 30 minutes for one serving of rice paper rolls and a bahn mi is too long!
The Bánh mì has been great, especially the Pork belly.
Pho square is closed Monday, Yesterday (Tuesday) the chicken for the Bánh mì was old and very dry and clearly from Sunday, they didn't put pâté on until I had to ask and used Kewpie mayo instead of the egg butter, the correct condiments weren't ready yet but instead of telling me so I could choose something else or choose to come back later, they substituted without asking, flavour was ok but not what I wanted or paid for.
Popped in while on a morning walk with my mum and toddler nephew. Grabbed a special beef pho and some BBQ chicken rice paper rolls.
I consider myself a bit a of pho enthusiast, and this is the best pho in town! Generous serving, very large pieces of beef, beef balls were delicious.unlike some other restaurants, this broth tasted like it was made with particular care.
Vietnamese coffee (iced with condensed milk) was stronger than most and thoroughly enjoyable.
I'd love to try the bahn mi though the pork wasn't quite ready at that time in morning (around 11am) so I'll definitely be back to try that as there is only one other bahn mi in town (that I know of) and competition breeds quality products.
Our server was extremely kind, attentive, and generous.and also gave the little fella some prawn crackers on the house. We couldn't figure out what to get him, but he was a big fan of those even though he'd never tried them previously.
I know where I'll be ordering my next delivered pho. If the bahn mi is at the same standard, I think we'll have a new best Viet restaurant in town!
