Pho Sac - St Albans

Love Pho Sac. The signature pho with beef ribs is insanely good. The restaurant is clean and the staff are always very professional and welcoming.

Ordered chicken pho and it would’ve been okay if the liver and egg wasn’t over cooked.

Service was good

We went here to try their northern style Pho again after long time and were very very disappointed with the experience. It was pretty good before regarding quality and taste, similar to the original restaurant in Braybook. But it was terrible now so I guess must be new owner/chef since they changed the decoration, settings and menu too.
New inferior design and setting are good. Clean cutlery and nice tea. However, the service was dreadful with staff's bad attitude and manner. Pho quality is significantly deteriorated compared to before. Definitely not northern style Pho at all but more mixed northern and southern style. Im from the north so I can definitely tell this is far form northern style Pho. Very disappointed and sad since st albans has lost a good place for Pho now. Will not be back unfortunately. The new owners should step up their game!

Signature beef pho’ and sliced beef pho with 4 extra toppings beef balls, brisket, beef flank and sliced beef!

I have tried a handful of Pho’ across town and many have failed and have not reached my expectations, Too many were bland, salty, msg, too peppery and not enough fresh ingredients and stock pot was nearing at the bottom!

The traditional sliced beef pho’ was average even though a selection of 4 extra ingredients added, the soup base was still average regardless of all the add ons available.

The Signature Beef pho’ with Rib beef bone-in Pho’ on the other hand!

The soup base was comforting and so pleasant and flavourful!
Just on another level compared to their traditional Beef pho which at the start I wondered what the difference was and Bang!
A deeper flavour with rich aroma with no need to add extra seasonings, spice and chilli oil!
Definitely on another level and must try!

The interior is modern clean and plenty of seatings inside and out but may struggle to fit a double pram and wheelchair access may be also difficult to maneuver.
The service was good and comical as another diner and I were given a flask each containing traditional tea at the end of our meal but no tea cups in sight
Tea is normally served before and after the meal? The other diner and I were a little puzzled.
No harm done and even made us giggle!

The worst dining experience ever
Their staff was so rude, did not even respond although I said thank you many times.
They shut the door while we still haven’t finished eating yet. Noted that it was still more than 30 mins before the closing time.

Very bad.

I have just ordered Pho for take away, it is so amazing! The way you pack everything in bag is so nice, and the taste is EXCELLENT! THE BEST PHO EVER IN MELBOURNE

WOW! The BEST Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine in Melbourne

I have visited Pho Sac St Albans Restaurant at least 8 times in the last month or so and I can say their Pho and Noodles and many other dishes are AMAZING!

I have been enjoying the best Vietnamese food in Melbourne with numerous restaurants in St Albans over the past 20 years and I can say Pho Sac St Albans is exceptional in so many ways.
It has Superb, fresh and tasty food is to die for, extremely friendly and helpful staff who will help you with your selections, and it is absolutely spotlessly clean and very reasonably priced. This place is ideal for a good night out with family and friends or a quick healthy meal for breakfast or lunch during the day too.
I can’t wait to go back again with my family this weekend for our regular Pho hit – it’s absolutely delicious.
