Pho My Tho reviews
23A local Vietnamese restaurant with all the classic favourites. I have eaten here about 4 times now. There are some really good recipes but at times flavours can be very disappointing eg mee goring.
I stumbled upon this Pho My Tho, and it's a real hidden gem! The quality of the food here is top-notch, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. What impressed me the most was the freshness of the vegetables used in their dishes. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it's evident they take great care in sourcing their ingredients. If you're in search of delicious, authentic Pho without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. I can't recommend it enough!
Seriously the best Vietnamese food.
I only come here.
Pho is the best.
Authentic, yummy and addictive
We had the combination and beef pho, chicken rice paper rolls and everything was so good, definitely will be back
Very disappointed. I ordered a Noodle Soup - the broth was tasteless AND then charged over $15 for it. My partner ordered the Singapore noodles and he was disappointed as well saying it tasted burnt.
I have a lot of Pho on a weekly basis, this is my fav place in the north.
The food is so authentic! Nothing over the top, really humble, quality good that makes me feel right at home.
Egg noodle pho is my fav. I was there for lunch just earlier today!
Craving for pho
Found that they have halal pho, really nice.
The prawn spring roll was the best, the ratio of prawn and the roll was great. You get to taste decent size prawn.
Great family business with good customer service and quality food
Ordered takeaway beef slice pho, beef was a little greenish and did not look fresh at all. Ate a few of the better looking slices but was thick and tough, didn't even finish.
Have eaten at Pho My Tho 4 weeks ago and yeah it was a good experience. Pricing was affordable and noodle options was pretty good.
Edit: And Apologies. Left a earlier bad review but it was for a different restaurant with a similar name that I had eaten at. I was mistaken. That bad review has now been deleted.
Poor customer service. Smells like stale oil. Meat wasn’t fresh in Pho. Singapore noodles were flavourless and had no BBQ or prawns in it. Overall tasteless and shoddy outfit. Never seen Vietnamese restaurant like this in Melbourne before.
Ordered Salty fish & Chicken fried rice. Could give 4* for the quick service, meal amount, and the taste. However decided to take away 1*, because it’s called Salty Fish but I didn’t taste the salty fish at all, just chicken. That’s deceiving. Disappointed!
A lovely little family run Vietnamese restaurant in northern Sydney Rd. Good portions, reasonable prices and authentic flavours. 1.1% credit card surcharge
What a discovery! We moved locally 6 months ago and have not found any up to standard within 5km. The pho here is right up there with the best in Melbourne. My husband and I are pho tragics and have eaten far too many we would rather not have. Terrible location and unassuming shop but so worth it. Please support this place so it stays open for a long long time……for me!
This little cute place is a hidden gem for real wonton & chicken base soups. I work long hours and came across by passing by. It’s a friendly family run business so I knew I was in the right place. The food and taste is amazing. Especially when your a little run down and just want a real broth soup with lots of quality chicken/ beef / veggie pieces. The perfect bowl with lots of goodness.
Other places I’ve been have no beef or little quantity of chicken and veggies. Thank you Pho I’m coming to you all the time from now on.
My partner and I stopped in for a quick Pho on the way outta town and were pleasantly surprised. Low-key best Pho in Brunswick…
Great little family run restaurant. Had the beef Pho which was fresh, full of flavour and a lot of fun. Will be back.
Decent food but the Clive palmer poster inside made me want to vomit my food up. Never gonig back.
Amazing place, very kind and friendly family running the business. The food if delicious. I loved the taste and you can se that there is dedication and love in the cooking.
Super recommended.
Such a little gem in Coburg! The food is very reasonably priced, the portions are generous and the food is delicious and tastes home cooked. The restaurant itself isn’t the snazziest but the food does the talking.
Have ordered Vietnamese take away here twice now and both times the food has been pretty good for the price point. We ordered, Pho, Rice Vermicelli noodle with grilled chicken with fried and fresh spring rolls and all were good for takeaway. Also friendly, quick and no fuss service. Accepts cards as well.
- Taste, price and no fuss Vietnamese good options.
UPDATE - love their Nasi fried rice
