Pho Liem reviews
32 Definitely one of the best bowls of pho I have had in melbourne. Soup was clear and full of flavour but light at the same time.
Staff were also friendly and service was great.
Best pho I’ve had since Vietnam! Big portions, great price, super tasty and run by lovely people ️ Will definitely be back, thank you for the healing dinner
Best pho in town! And food in general. Everything is always fresh and cooked with care and love!
This is our go-to place for a proper, well made pho.
For a family business that's been around for more than 20 years, this place has been underrated. We've been enjoying the quality of the food, the service and how affordable they are.
Our favourite local Vietnamese restaurant! Food is always fresh and delicious. Prices are also very reasonable.
Great food - never disappoints. The crispy chicken with chef’s special sauce is fricken delicious.
Great food, friendly service and fast delivery! So affordable. New favourite Vietnamese restaurant! Will definitely return
Got my wife the chicken and beef pho and I had the pork chop with fried rice. The fried rice was possibly the best fried rice I had, authentic Wok flavour with a well cooked pork chop. We also had the calamari, fresh with a perfect balance of chilli and salt.
Great service with a smile also. We will be back!
Great food, good service. I am always hesitant to try new places because am a vegetarian but was so glad to have found this hidden gem in Preston. Everything I ate was delicious. There was a whole section on the menu for vegetarians and I cannot wait to try them all. Must try their Tom Yum Soup and Vegetarian Fried Rice.
We've been coming here for years and it is by far the best hidden gem I've ever found. The food is always delicious, plentiful and extremely affordable. The owners and staff are always super friendly which makes it such a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend.
Restaurant spotlessly clean. The food! Oh my goodness so delicious and presented lovely. I have a couple of Asian Restaurants that are my fave but this is now my "Number 1" Great prices also.
Stopped in for the first time because we didn't want to eat at Northies food court. The reviews were pretty good. I can confirm the food and the staff are excellent. Fresh and fragrant. Definitely going back soon.
Good staff, very good food. The prices are cheap and at worst reasonable. Portion wise it is big. Absolutely recommend them if you are on a budget but want a lot for your money
Such welcoming service, great food, and very affordable prices. Will be a regular here now that we’ve moved into the area!
Best Vietnamese restaurant ever. Drive across town for it. Beautiful food served by beautiful people. Old fashioned service
Awesome! Vermicelli with veggie spring rolls was great and the fried tofu was amazing. Fast service and really friendly.
Amazing family owned restaurant. Absolutely delightful people. They do a few different things you don't get elsewhere. Great assortment of beers, including rare Vietnamese ones. The let down is the shop itself, but it won't detract me.
Great! Family owned and really friendly. I have an allergy to peanuts and these guys are so careful with their food preparation and it all tastes delicious. Also very reasonably priced. Lucky to have this place as my local go to!
I was SO hopeful with such amazing reviews but the Vietnamese vermicelli salad was without question the worst I have ever had. The VERY minimal amount of lettuce in there was browning and wilted, there were only 5 pieces of cucumber and no carrot! That was the first time I’d experienced that. We also ordered Pho which was well below average, so all in all not a good strike rate. Some of their other dishes might be ok. I would definitely not recommend the Pho or Vietnamese salads though. Disappointing.
I have been there 3 times over the last year and they seem to get better with every visit.
When three of us had dinner there last week, we had their excellent quail for entree followed by mains which included a special dish of Grilled Beef on cold Vermicelli with lemon grass for my wife. This is a special Vietnamese dish that so far only a few restaurants have mastered but Liem -the chef/owner at Pho Liem served us the best dish that we have had in Melbourne.
Add to the great value prices for beer and wine and the excellent service that the owners wife gave us and we cannot wait to return with more friends.
I highly recommend this gem of a cafe.
