Pho Hien Saigon reviews
55Friendly staff, deliciousness and great pho! Really good spot to catch up with a couple of friends or grab a quick lunch on the go. Always a tasty visit!
We tried to order food waited a hour and 20 min then as we were so hungry they cancelled our order tried to call the restraint but they can’t even answer the phone. Won’t use this place again. Not reliable
Pho and coffee was exactly as I remember it being when I lived in Saigon. The most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I have been to since moving back to Australia.
Serving sizes are good, prices are reasonable, and service was friendly and helpful.
Still the goto place for me and the family but the pho souple now contains a little more MSG now.
Great experience, great food and great value. Definitely ticks all the boxes of an authentic phở joint.
First time trying this place and i’m quite impressed.
We ordered the phở đặc biệt with soursop smoothie and Vietnamese iced coffee to accompany it.
The food and drinks both arrived quite quickly. We hadn’t eaten all day so no time was spared as we rushed into eating. The broth was very flavoursome and clean, they were very generous with the meats, although there were quite a lot of tendons which I’m not personally a big fan of.
The smoothie was amazing! Perfect consistency and super refreshing. So good that i’d come back just to order it again.
BBH here isn’t too bad. Not a big fan of the pho here as I think there’s too much MSG in it which makes me extremely thirsty every time
This is our go to Pho noodle soup place whenever we are in the West side. Pho is delicious and serving is big. We also like the rice paper roll. They are really good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is also quick. Highly recommended.
Been coming here for the past eight years and it's consistently been one of the best pho places in Melbourne. Always cheap, too! Most definitely recommended.
Definitely the best Pho in the West! Food is delicious, service is quick, price is reasonable and serving is generous - what else could you ask for?
The restaurant has a great atmosphere, very nice food and very nice employees especially Long Dao: 3
Had the Beef & Brisket Pho - was alright/average, but could do much better. I thought the beef wasn't the best quality and tough which killed the experience, I'd like to see this improve - everything else was great and the ingredients were fresh. Definitely a restaurant with potential!
It's been awhile, the taste is still pretty good, maybe a little bit less meats than it used to be
Love they pho I always go there but waiters or waitress are not friendly they don't greed you or smile at you very rude peoples. I was there on the weekend walked in no hand sanitizer on the entry.
Stopped by for lunch. Hard to fault this place. Had the no. 21 Rice Vermicelli with chicken and it was delicious. Filling but didn’t feel bloated afterwards. Chicken was moist and tender, noodles were soft and plenty of salad to go with it. Perfect marriage. Also free tea on table, which is always awesome. Will definitely be back.
This place is popular with both Vietnamese and non-Viet customers. Reasonable prices, fast and friendly services. My favourite dishes (Bun thit nuong & Com tam) taste yummy and better than those at nearby restaurants.
Quick service and delicious food! Man behind the register is always very sweet - would recommend!
Really great fresh pho, really nice herb flavours coming through, delicate and yum bun cha is delicious and fresh as well, and really tasty crispy spring rolls.
Worst bowl of Pho I have had in a long time and I have eaten Pho regularly my entire life and I absolutely love Pho.
Everything wrong with this bowl.
1. Broth was cloudy and grey.
2. Broth tasted really sweet not bone sweet but too much sugar sweet which made everything else in it sweet.
3. Broth was luke warm and not boiling hot.
4. Rare beef was dry and turned white in color.
5. Fatty brisket was stringy and the fat had a texture like over cooked tripe.
6. Flank was dry and tasted like wet cardboard. (Too lean and machine sliced)
7. Pho noodle didn't taste fresh it had a chalky texture unlike fresh Pho noodles with its signature silky and bouncy texture.
Calling yourself "The Best In The West" with this trash is embarrassing anyone saying this place has the best Pho you need to get out more!
Never again will I eat here cheap and nasty.
Came last week and sat down with my boyfriend for 10mins and all the staffs were chatting in the kitchen and didn't want to serve us, so we just left.

The level of hygiene standard is below average to be serving food, I ordered crispy fried chicken with pickle vegie on 18/04/19 and got food poison from the pickle vegie which for sure has been contaminated and left outside for some time. Go here at the risk of ur health folks.
Should've left when one of the rude tom boy waitress place my order
