Phillip Island Visitor Information Centre reviews
35Very helpful and nice personnel. They would give you mapse and advice on attractions on the island.
Excellent service. Helped me with accommodations, booking the penguin parade and then organizing the upgrade to 4 parks ticket with Penguin Ranger.
Plenty of information and resources available. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Tickets for attractions such as the penguin parade can be booked here.
Great and very helpful staff, thank you for helping us plan our journey and have a better time knowing we will not miss anything while we are here. Big Thanks!
Very friendly staff, and all possible info available. The Island is a wonderful destination only 90mins outbid Melbourne
Can get a little busy here and you could be forced to wait some time to get some information but the staff are friendly and very helpful.
The goto for any information for Phillip Island and Gippsland through to Melbourne. Get great booklets and pamphlets on all attractions, businesses and things to do and see. Great summary sheets of Island tourist attractions and costs and sundry items such as maps and directions. Friendly staff welcome everyone and are more than happy to personally provide information or answers to all sorts of questions. The resources here are unmatched anywhere else and the small selection of souvenirs are amazing like the local artists impression of crafted rustic steel standing small penguins, koala's and other native animals. Truly a must experience treat for all visitors and locals to Phillip Island and district. Notable was the up to date information on Melbourne and other regions around Victoria.
We got some great advice here. We were told about a few places we would not have visited if not for the stop. A must drop in.
Staff were excellent really explained what options were available price wise and suggested good places to visit with a young child. The staff member really made the centre worth the visit so we will be buying our tickets from there from now on.
If you are headed to Phillip Island be sure to stop in at the visitor center. The staff were very helpful, gave us a wonderful array of walks and information about them all. Helped us sort out a booking issue so we could go to the penguin parade using our “PIE penguine and seal pass”. So much to see and do on the island, a must if you like to explore!
Good supply of booklets on area. Staff member could have been better informed of accessibliry to places like Penquin Parade & Nobbies Centre.
Staff could have been more up to date with things. Unable to give good answers to some of my questions.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff to help find your way around Phillip Island! You can pick up heaps of brochures and souvenirs here too.
Would give a better rating, the lady came out and helped us out as they have the Dictator Dan requirements of double stabbing
Very helpful, pointed out areas to find whales on Philip Island! Plenty of free brochures, with a useful map outside and restrooms.
This information center looked lovely unfortunately due to covid 19 it was not open, so I wasn't able to enter the building.
Many thx for teh very grt support, They take as long as it needed with all information, many thx
Great friendly staff who put on a free clay-making activity for the kids. Nadine was super-friendly and the other staff were very friendly too.
I had a great outing with my family at the Phillip Island a week ago. Thanks to the fantastic staff at the Visitor Information Centre. They provide a lot of useful information which helped plan my day at the island and it turned out to be a great experience, especially for my family with young children and elderly people. A shout out to Glenn and his wonderful team for making it a lovely experience for people visiting the place.
Given that I was traveling with my children and parents, I was a tad doubtful how well the experience will be as I'm not keen of being pushed around. The staff made it easy for us and suggested a plan which worked incredibly well.
