Phayathai Thai Restaurant

The worst Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food was a disgrace, service was horrible and now I feel sick after eating it. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog.

Services and the people were really nice and super helpful! I went here with my friends and they were extremely nice to us.

Our family has been coming to this restaurant for years and the service/workers are always very kind and polite and the food is always tasty and never disappoints!

Entrees pumpkin coconut fritters chicken skewers and curry puffs all delicious. Mains honey chicken and pad Thai great.

Loved the food in Phaya Thai. We ordered all Vegan dishes and they tasted yummy. We ordered Veg spring rolls, Pad thai, Pad See Ew noodles, Masaman curry and Jasmine rice. Pad see Ew tasted heavenly with lots of vegetables. Overall the service was also good.

Picked up takeaway en route home. My pad see ew wasn’t overly flavourful (probably better for my health as not as sweet as I like). Venue itself was pretty low key but the food was ready in ten minutes which was convenient

Nice typical suburban restaurant.
Our food had excellent flavour, noting that stir fry vegetables were a bit on the crisp side.

Best restaurant in Melbourne, everyone’s lovely and they kindly make the pad thai vegan on request and it’s always delicious if they ever close I’ll die

Organised my sisters hen’s night for 20 people. We had a delicious banquet for only $30. There was a lot of people with dietary requirements. Ping was so helpful and good to deal with. The red beef curry was the best I’ve tasted yet!

Excellent, great Thai food. We used to eat here regularly when living in the area but, having moved and tried other Thai restaurants nearby, we haven’t found anything near Phayathai Thai, so we are happy to make the trip back. Well worth the effort we think.

Worst Thai I've had in awhile. The prawn crackers were stale, like they were from 2 nights ago.
We had the beef masaman curry and was very tasteless, again didnt seem fresh. Cheap beef and was tough. Would not recommend going.

We enjoyed a casual dining experience for a large group. The staff were helpful and friendly. The prices were excellent. The Pad Thai was especially tasty.

Expensive for what it is. Watery 'sweet chilli sauce' with average entree. Poorly balanced stirfry with very chunky veg. Go elsewhere.

5 star restaurant. Beautiful meals and service. Will definitely come back.
My friends also do regular take away here. I think, I ll do the same.

Just bought some takeaway thinking of supporting the local restaurant but it was the worst Thai food ever. It didn’t even taste like Thai food so watery with No flavour. Ordered garlic prawns stir fry thinking it’ll be full of flavour but omg it was watery & full of chunky carrots. I’ll differently will not recommend it anyone.

Ordered via delivery service. Never again will I use this pathetic restaurant. The online menu offered sauce with the Roti bread. But it was not included in the delivery. This awful ‘business’ offered no apologies, saying it should not have been expected to deliver what was on its own menu. If looking for Thai, use one of their competitors, of which there are several nearby.

We had a large group of 18 with many dietary requirements. The staff were very professional always making sure we were happy. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks

Beautiful food, not sure how anyone could say otherwise. Bit pricey and need more staff but food is stunning!

Delicious food. Green curry with coconut rice was superb. Very pleasant atmosphere. Good service.

We live on the other side of town and it's a Really good restaurant, very authentic! I recommend it definately!
