Phat Pizza Burger Bar

Good burgers. Misogynistic names. Please change them, it’s utterly stupid to be ordering a “phat chick”. I’ve lived around the corner for 8 years and it’s bothered me the whole time. I have never bothered saying this to your workers because it’s not their fault nor their responsibility, but hoping the business owner and others see this.

I found the fish burger, chips and potato cakes tasty. I was kindly given a decent portion of free chips, which were particularly tasty! I would consider visiting this restaurant sometime again when I’m in Elwood.

Stopped off for a quick late lunch at 2pm on my way back to work. I got a lamb wrap with no onion. It was SO good! Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this gem of a place, and especially the lamb wrap. Great sauce, fresh soft and crispy wrap in all the right places. Yum!

The burgers are incredible. I could eat here every day, in fact I have for the last couple of days.

Having decided to visit based on an Instagram post we hadn’t realised this was literally a hole in the wall venue from the owners of the Turkish restaurant next store. Despite the tepid water we were pretty impressed with the burger offering.

The chips were really nicely seasoned and I loved my flavoursome potato cake beef burger. They seemed to have a few specials nights also so will definitely be back to check those out. Very limited seating though so if you arrive at the wrong time you may have to depart with takeaway!

Great little burger/wrap bar. Product is excellent and made by a very likeable team. Highly recommend.

Food is always tasty but their attention to detail can be sub par. When you ask them to take out ingredients in burgers they only read the order properly 50% of the time.
Really average amount of chicken in the wrap as well today. You’re better off putting more in then less.
I’ve been a supporter of there’s but they need to be better, especially on a random Tuesday.

We used to love this place but something changed in the past few months. Three mess up orders in a row is enough. In the last one we also got a hair in the fries and items were swap for others without even telling us. Sad but won't order again.

Cracking burgers and really great sides. The popcorn Halloumi is addictive goodness and the chips are special. Became my local burger place. They are a fair way ahead of local competitors.

Love them! Phat Pizza bar is a reliable joint where you can get many treats for cheap, Deliveroo offers $2 delivery and they have a varied menu for all tastes! The crispy chips and the double cheeseburger are the best for me!

Burger was awesome, juicy heaps of flavour, loved it! But the zucchini chips were a let down. I think the oil was too cold so they were greasy on the outside and soggy in the middle.

Ugh! Just ordered pizza and 2 black hairs were on the pizza - disgusting. Two separate pieces. Worst first experience ordering. Use a hair tie, hair elastic or wear a hair net.

Great food, rubbish service. Ubereats prioritised. Better to stand out the front and pay Uber than order direct

I wish I took a photo! Have been here multiple times and Phat’s have never failed to disappoint, absolutely outstanding stuff.

Great burger was pleasantly surprised by how tastes it was. As we pulled in last minute to grab a quick bit.
Can recommend the house burger and I'm sure I will return in the future to sample the others.

Best chicken burger ive had in a very long time and the chips with the spicy sauce are great too! Definitely recommend the hot chic burger

I went the Phat burger once and never again.
It was a freezing cold, rainy Saturday night. I went in to get take away as I feel for local businesses where the delivery services take a 30% cut. Thought I would do the right thing by them.

Stood in line to order behind another guy. When it was my turn, placed my order for 5 people with all the extras.

When the guy in front of me got his burgers, thought not long to go now. But this is where my experience went down hill. Standing out the front shivering away, I had been watching the kitchen shuffle all the orders around. Clearly they were prioritising the delivery services (and their 30% cut).

After the guy in front of me collected his burgers, he had time to eat them at the outside table, go in and buy drinks, had a smoke and then even went in and bought some desserts and finished them. While waiting for mine, wrongly assuming that mine would be the next order, I think there was no less then a dozen food delivery services given their orders. UberEats, Deliveroo, Menu Log, all of them were there.

It ended up being a 45 minute wait. By the time I got home to eat, I was so angry about this process that I cannot actually remember if the burgers were any good.

Clearly management are happy to loose a large portion of a sale to the companies and have no interest in rewarding locals that tried to do the right thing by them.

I still get angry thinking about it. Will never go back again.

And before anyone thinks they may have lost my order, the other customers behind me in the line were still waiting for their food when I left.
