Pharmasave reviews
18I've just moved to the area and this is the closest pharmacy. What a disappointment. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I felt if you weren't a certain demographic you definitely didn't get the service. On top of that 1 of my medications was double the price and the other 50% more expensive. Also the judgemental attitude when they saw what my scripts were for! It's my first time there, you don't get to judge me! I'm not sure if they have generic brands as it wasn’t offered to me. I'm going back to Chemist Warehouse as the service is always good and it's valuable for money. Horrible experience!
What an attitude from the pharmacist. We ask for stats declarations, she was not even busy and told us she have no time. Plus this is a paid service, I have no idea with the rudeness of her.
The asian lady pharmacist wasn't helpful when I asked about medicine but kind australian male pharmacist helped me thankfully
Pharmasave South Melbourne prescription prices were more than double the price I previously paid at Chemist Warehouse, I would not recommend going there to fill your prescriptions and won't be going there again. I also wrote to them about this, but did not receive a response.
2 stars because at least the chemists / pharmacists are actually nice and shows good customer service but some people at the counter / cashier needs some serious lessons about working in a store. 0 customer service. They don’t even look at you when you go to the counter. Just takes the items from you and then pretend like you’re not there. Takes money while looking away or while talking to others and then just put the items back on the counter. Never say thank you or never greets. Learn some manners and show some courtesy. You’re not handing out anything for free
Honestly can't make my mind up about this place, have had good and bad experiences. Would prefer to walk further to the pharmacy on bay st where I know I will get really friendly service
Went in today asking whether they had a drug available, and was LAUGHED at.
What makes it worse (if it wasn't bad enough already), was that this was the second time in a few months that they'd laughed when it wasn't available. That makes it 2 out of 2 visits that a health practitioner felt it was somehow appropriate to be outwardly amused that a drug, which a patient's health, quality of life and wellbeing relied on, was out of stock. This is shameful.
After reading some of the comments here, I agree - this is a glorified supermarket.
Went there to get cough medicine for a virus that my partner and I have picked up. I'm a bit sick of buying expensive syrups/tablets that do little or nothing so I asked about the active ingredients and how it works. The retail assistant read me aloud the description on the box "soothes dry cough" and when I asked how it worked she shrugged her shoulders said "I don't know". Glorified supermarket.
In desperate need of getting a script filled and delivered to my elderly mother
I just wanted to say a sincere public thank you to Pharmasave South Melbourne for all their help this morning. They were my 7th and only chemist left to try. Some chemists tried their best to help, but one one was particularly rude as my mother had not been a customer for the last 4 years (only because since then, I shop for all her meds at my local pharmacy)! As she was not a regular I was told with much apathy by the staff member to send a taxi to pick it up if I wanted the medication.
Phamasave staff were completely the opposite! They were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and did what they said they would do which included organising a courier with follow up calls for me and to me through the process. They were a true reflection of the word CARE in the word Healthcare! Thank you, thank you, thank you from one very happy customer!
I had a COVID booster here and just wanted to commend the staff on how patient the staff were when helping a man with disabilities.
He had no care staff with him, and just an A4 paper letter chart to communicate. The staff took all the time they could to talk with him and understand that he was here too for a booster. Awesome to see that respect.
A great little pharmacy with prices better than Chemist Warehouse. The pharmacists here are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Best of all, it's a compounding pharmacy, so - if your doctor allows it on the script - the can compound certain medicines at a fraction of the price that you'd pay for the branded product. And they're convenient - open till 8pm, and just near both Aldi and Woolworths.
Absolutely hostile chemist staff. We asked a simple question today and were asked to LEAVE and DO NOT come back. Our question was "where are the closest testing sites, as we needed several staff to get tested. The chemist/pharmacist was incredibly rude and hostile and said "GET OUT OF MY CHEMIST NOW! " and pointed at the doorway. We will not come back and we have told all the businesses in the local area not to use this chemist.
Friendly and helpful staff - It’s convenient to get to and they are a compounding pharmacy which is great.
This pharmacy and the staff are fantastic. They are very informative and patient during these Covid times, in which I am sure they are run off their feet with the amount of people that come through daily.
Highly recommend!
These guys ripped me off, they gave me the most expensive prescription pills just because i didnt ask for generic and i ended up paying 3 times more than what i wouldve paid at chemist warehouse, never been back since, please guys do yourself a favour and go to chemist warehouse instead
Rude pharmacist unwilling to provide services due to 'Stage 4'. Went to Chemist Warehouse instead and they assisted me immediately. Choose elsewhere.
Good local pharmacy that's open seven days a week. Located inside South Melbourne Central & also accessible from the street. The pharmacists are friendly & helpful; ready to give advice about prescribed drugs & the medicinal management of health issues. In addition to standard medicines, PSMP have an on-site compounding pharmaceutical service.
They have an extensive range of non-prescription items including over-the-counter medications, vitamins, dressings, skin care & beauty products, as well as cosmetics & gift ideas. An outlet for Pinc skin care range which was developed by pharmacists.
Had to give 1 star to leave this message
avoid them if u can a DIABETIC was refused needle caps and was told they had none when she could see them and pointed them out was sold 1 needle something a drug user would use and she showed her NDSS card WOW
