Not entirely happy with the grooming service here dogs hair was cut with steps in it not consistent and tail was not done, also dog was very sad when he was picked up because he was locked in a small crate, won’t be coming back and can’t recommend their services

The Staff were fantastic. I rang them looking for a certain Dog food. They had my order bagged and waiting for me. Great Service. Great Shop to spend time just looking at everything.

Overpriced in my opinion. Stock is always lacking and not great if you have small animals. I will say their reward system is good and beneficial if you shop here regularly (I do as I have a fussy bunny).

Can't possibly thank the staff enough. We recently adopted two gorgeous cats and they have been so well cared for and loved during their time in store. Elvis & Priscilla (now named Pumpkin & Spice) have settled into our home seamlessly and totally stolen our hearts.

These guys are awesome.
They do price matching, which cuts out the delay of waiting for parcels/orders.
I was even able to book my dog in for a welfare groom. Very happy customer.

Took my dogs in for a bath after they rolled in something disgusting. Checked very specifically on the website before I left home to see if they were still doing dog washes during lockdown and the website SPECIFICALLY says yes, they are. Lady on desk with mask BELOW her nose was really rude when she said they weren't doing dog washes during lockdown. Update your website if that's actually the case, wear your mask properly, and don't be rude to your customers.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

If someone buys an item such as a cone for their pet, it means they are having a sick pet at home.

Searching the internet and finding  your advertisement everywhere indicating 15 minutes pickup on all items, was misleading and having not heard back from anyone became extremely disappointing for us.

It is understandable that an item can go out of stock, but it is not acceptable that after giving you 24 hours to process it I have to follow up to find out my cat is going to be left another day without what she needs.

At minimum it is expected of you to reach out to your customer WITHIN 15 MINUTES of the purchase time and advise them that the shop is out of stock.

There is nothing to be resolved. My note above is a reply to customer service request. They told me that I have been refunded. Here I am letting you and your other customer know, that it is NOT okay to advertise you have a pickups within 15 minutes, but you never contact your customer if you are out of stock.

After 24 hours when I reached out to customer service they replied very promptly, letting me know that the shop was out of stock and I have been already refunded.

It is expected of the shops or the PetStock system to reply to customer WITHIN 15 MINUTES of the purchase time, and let the customer know the shop is out of stock, order has been canceled and fully refunded.

Please keep this review as a reminder to adjust your system to be more truthfull and less misleading in your advertisements.

The recurring pet food orders don't work. I placed an order to deliver dog food automatically once every 3 weeks. When their system failed to deliver the second lot i called to ask that they deliver it as I had none left. I asked if they could send it express or something and they said they would charge me extra - for their mistake.

Only person in the store, 3 persons behind counter, one doing some packing the other two talking. Walked around store then to counter to ask a question. No one bothered serving me nor was I ever asked if they could assist so I left and went elsewhere.

Worst experience in a Petstock. Thank God Petbarn is two minutes away. Priorities are chatting with friends, waiting at register, ask for help draws a blank answer! 0/10. Never again

I have been a regular customer at this store, however today I took my dog in for a nail clip (takes <5 mins), I was told they don’t do walk in nail clip at the moment.
The staff said I need to book for a full groom.

My dog has monthly nail clips and I have taken him to this store regularly. I understand during Stage 3 lockdown it wasn’t allowed however now they are open for grooming but not for nail clips?

I am taking my dog to Habitat Pet Supplies on Highbury Rd, Burwood who are open for grooming as well as nail clips and were happy to accomodate us.

My experience with kitten adoption from this store has been terrible and heart breaking. I adopted an 8 weeks old kitten named pop on March 2019. (We named him Simba afterwards). I was told the kitten is healthy and he had been checked by their vet and the shelter they came from. So I believed them. But turned out that Simba was Felv positive (Feline Leukaemia) and he was only with us for 6 months and could not make it to live longer with us (Passed away on 12 of September 2019). The saddest thing is that I already had another cat 'Jasper' two and a half years old (completely healthy). Now he is three years and a half, very sick in his final days, as he got the same virus from Simba. Jasper could have been with us for so long (12-15 years) if This store or the shelter who gave them these kittens could have informed us/them that Simba had Felv which is highly contagious among cats as well. I really hope you guys reconsider the shelter you get these kittens from. Please follow up this issue with your shelter, because clearly they are not being honest with you. My family and Myself are totally devastated and heart broken losing two of our loved ones (Simba and Jasper) for your shelter mistake.

Besides my very sad adoption experience, I have been happy with their food range for cats and their products quality are really good and rich in nutrition. Their customer service has been great and helpful so far too.
