Too busy laughing and joking with your tradie customers to assist anyone else apparently. I waited patiently and you were nothing but rude and unhelpful and gave no offer to show me where the item I was looking for was stored. Instead I get a series of directions almost impossible to follow…. So I went to Bunnings Chadstone instead. Despite actually being very busy at Bunnings someone assisted me to find the product, measure it out and carried it to the checkout for me. I always support local business but I definitely won’t be returning to this one.

It would be hard to find a store offering ruder or more unhelpful staff. I needed to buy some glue to repair a damaged wooden item. I asked the man on the front desk advice as to which product to buy. When I asked him the to provide advice he looked visibly irritated in that I had disturbed him. He was very reluctant to give me an answer. When he did eventually answer me it was clipped brief and unhelpful. Unless you know precisely what you want don't go to this place.

Had exactly what I needed. And great service too. Love that it's local and easy to park.

Limited range of products and certainly not the cheapest prices but the help you get from staff makes up for it.

An old store BUT with plenty of good old fashioned service, friendly and helpful staff who display genuine support and a desire to please their customer

After 8 years of being a loyal customer to service levels ranging from excellent to shocking I returned a power tool that had stopped working just after 1 year post purchase, but with a 3 year warranty. Store manager refused to replace and I had to insist. After checking with HO replaced but with warranty date from first purchase. When I went to store to pick up replacement and purchase additional products Store Manager was rude, seemingly not happy that I’d used my legal right to replace correctly and minimally used power tool? See you later Mitre 10, hello Bunnings.

Addendum: So now the owner is saying I bought the wrong tool for the job. It was purchased after discussing intended use with staff member who said it was the right tool!

Yesterday I was served by the nicest guy named Matthew. He sold me a key lock box & chain. He was very helpful, interested & kind. I’m now a brand new loyal (local) customer. Thank you Matthew

Went to buy timber online, tryed searching and got everything but timber, so will not be shopping there. If you cant get a search engine right then you have no future as a business.

This place really should get more traction

Employees know their stuff, heaps better than Bunnings, and they don’t run away from customers

obvs not as much range
But love going for the ambience/in and out nature of the place

With the wood provided by this mitre 10, I was able to build my bed frame for my 2 sons. They're very grateful

Only needed a few pieces of treated pine to finish a job. Service from the young guy with the skull mask in the timber yard was impeccable. 5 stars well done.
Unfortunately i didnt get all that i needed. I was after a size that wasn't a stock line but it is only a small yard and they can't keep everything.
Service is 10X better than those "BIG GREEN BOXES" that are everywhere. I much prefer these small local yards anyday. Thats where I got my start in the timber industry so please support all the local timber and hardware stores n only go to the big ones if its urgent.
Thanks Peters!

I have been going here for decades. Its more convenient than a bunnings as its quicker to get a variety of items. The staff are up for a joke & the timber guys are always helpful. Parking is generally not an issue

Quite a rude response when I called up to ask if they stock a certain product.the guy actually hung up on me, just gave the info then ended the call, as if I was supposed to know before calling

Excellent service, good advice and good products. Maybe not the cheapest, but competitive, and you get what you pay for. Took the time to explain options and made sure I knew what to do.

A bit of a different review here but:

I popped in because I was having trouble with my electric guitar, got a set of screw drivers and pliers and was really happy with the service especially the chap who brought out a big ol' blade to cut my pliers out of their packaging.

After messing around with my guitar for a bit in the parking lot I still couldn't sort it out, a staff member comes out I think his name was Mike? (Sorry mate I was too much in a daze!) sees I was having trouble with my guitar and heads back in takes the effort to grab a thick roll of wire, cuts me off a piece, proceeds to fix the issue (guitar strings had gotten wedged in due to rust), hands me the wire for safe keeping, says "Musos gotta stick together! ", shakes my hand and I'm off.

5 stars for the great service, 6 stars for the chap with the knife and 7 stars for Mike (?) who saved my guitar just out of the goodness of his heart! Thank you!

Rudest staff I have ever come across in the trade industry! The way I heard their staff treat a woman today was disgusting! Not happy! Never going back.

Ridiculously expensive (for retail DIY, dont know about trade). 50% to >100% more expensive than Bunnings. If the customer service & advice was amazing I would gladly pay the extra, but its not. I live nearby and sometimes go in there when I cant be bothered driving to Bunnings/Masters - and each time I swear I'll never go back.

I came to buy a silicone from this shop. When I come to the store cashier to make a payment there was a very rude lady. Her name was Kerry Delphin. Incredibly rude, horrid and ill-mannered woman! After she took my credit card to process the payment instead of passing it back into my hands she just throw it back to me! And after that spitfully said "thank you".
I was shocked and 5 minutes later I made a call to lodge a complaint. It was surprising to hear when she was the one who picked up the phone. Politely I asked the reason why did she behave like that? She answered: "You have no right to talk over the phone when you want to process the payment". I said that first of all this is my business when to talk over the phone, I have problems at work and I need to arrange my employees. You are a cashier and you must as quick as possible to process my payment and do not create a queue, because this is your job and you have to do that despite I an on the phone or not at that moment. She interrupted me and hung up.
Very poor behaviour and the worst personnel ever. Definitely does not worth to go back.

Friendly staff, helpful guy in the timber yard, which is something I don't get at Bunnings. Obviously less stock and variety than Bunnings and a bit more expensive, but then again, most of the stock at Bunnings is ultra cheap imported junk that snaps or rusts, so you are better paying a bit more for something right anyway. Peters Hardware is handy if you can't be bothered driving all the way to Bunnings to get lost in their aisles.
