Peters Mitre 10 reviews
21Just had the best customer service. I phoned to say I couldn’t make it in to the store in time to pick up a click and collect order. A lovely team member James said he would drop it off to my house on his way home! What great service!
Nice little Mitre 10. Familiar with it because of The Block 2020. After shopping in Hampton Street husband wanted to get some parts without going all the way to Bunnings which he was able to get. I was after small tin of white enamel paint to touch up scratch on fridge and washing machine but unfortunately only larger size in stock. So has all the basics you need and actually odd to see timber yard in middle of Brighton, can see developers wanting this space! Hopefully doesn't go anywhere.
If you don't mind waiting, with no reply or indication of availability then this is the place for you, while waiting placed same order at different mitre 10 paid and picked up, still waiting for a reply from this store when order might be ready.
.
If you replied to my order as quick as my review, I wouldn't have already shopped elsewhere!
I came in a while back to purchase a few things to do home improvement. The green haired goth woman was extremely helpful in helping me choose colours and mixing them. She also gave me some good advice on neutral color choices to paint my brothers bedroom. 5/5 will shop here again when she is working there.
Disappointingly they don't stock J B Weld products. Generally though it's a very convenient alternative to driving to Moorabbin or Mentone Bunnings.
Knowledgeable staff gives an old fashioned hardware feel. A good range of stock from a relatively small store as well as a timber yard
Depends who is serving. Yesterday not so good. This is a store where a woman like me needs service. Why I go there and not to Bunnings!
Great local hardware with super helpful staff! They helped me find the right tool to finish my project. Thanks guys!
A local store that I try to support but the last two visits have been pretty bad. Rude and unhelpful staff who begrudgingly do as little as possible to assist you.
I’ll be going elsewhere.
I have always been given excellent advice and help by the staff here. Had a recent home renovation challenge that they set me right on and saved me a lot of money. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Great service, quick and easy. I was served by the knowledgable and trusty Mike L who went above and beyond to make my day! Thanks Mike!
Its not hard to put some signage for inwards goods.and moreover there is no need to be grumpy with drivers who r there to deliver ur stuff, which u guys need to run bussiness.
Made three separate purchases today that totaled 47 bags of concrete and not one offer of assistance despite limping from an injury and three people in the yard watching me. The same applied on my other two visits in the past month, fairly sizable purchases and not even a rye smile provided!
"Mighty Helpful" is missing the "Un" prefix. My recommendation to you is this, unless you are doing a study on work avoidance or skulking this is probably not a place you will get much benefit from visiting and yes as others have commented they are also quite expensive to boot.
Nasty staff, were very rude to me and don’t plan on going back unfortunatly since they have a good range of supplies.
Staff were rude and either had no knowledge or refused help. Very rude and not helpful.
Lazy bad staff.
Me: “hi could I get some help with the adjustable shelf’s”
Staff member: “what do u want? ”
Me: “ I’m not sure on the right screws for the type of wall I’m useing”
Staff member: “well I don’t have a crystal ball mate ur gonna have to figure it out”
Haven’t ever had worse service from more then 1 employee. Made me uncomfortable and like they wanted me to leave. Hampton hardware is awesome x
Old man driving the ute gives peters mitre 10 a bad name. Treat everyone as a potential customer and dont be a.
Overpriced hardware, with little customer service or staff willingness to help you find what you're looking for. Product shelved in a unclear manner making looking for the right screw/nail a little challenging, hence the need for a willing friendly hand to guide you that was unfortunately absent during my visit.
I have gone here a few times from working in the area and so far they have had everything I needed which is remarkable considering the size of it, don't find the custormer to bad sure can always be better but I'm not their to buy a coffee and have a chat, as prices go they are around the same timber is well price and the hardwear is not to bad sure some stuff might be a little more but still beats driving 20mins to the big hardwear stores, overall can say I'm happy
This mitre 10 has no late nights and is 'now open' 9-3pm on a Sunday. Doesn't really cater for people who want to grab something on the way home or who want to get stuck into a project at the weekend. Wouldn't cost much to have two staff on for one late night and/or open up at 7am on the weekends
