As many people reviewed, i was served with a rude staff at the counter today (4/6/23) I do not like the way she rise her voice when she talk to me with a serious face, no greeting, no smiling. Cannot believe they do not have enough money to change even just $12 when i wanna pay by cash. Ridiculous!

Amazing staff! Shout out to the wonderful Paige who was so helpful and friendly. Definitely be shopping there again!

When i came into peter alexander i was served by someone with attitude that was unacceptable and rude.she was really judgmental and everytime i asked a question she rolled her eyes.her and one of her other co workers would look at eachother then look at me and laugh like they were tlaking about me.i can’t remember her name but she was blonde with a lot of makeup.i’m pretty sure her name started with a c or something.disappointing.

Rude staff behind counter today named Grace 28/12 about 4.45pm. Ruined my mood not even a hello or thank you when putting my sale through and talking to other staff when serving

Had a wonderful experience at Peter Alexander thanks to the amazing customer service rep Grace. Grace was beyond polite and helpful, she endeavoured to ensure that I was satisfied with all of my purchases as well. She sold me the dream! LOL! Will definitely come back here.

I’ve never been humiliated by other sales workers at DFO Essendon but today, at around 3: 50-4: 00 (10/09/22) two girls were on the cash register. I have politely asked to confirm about the price. These two ladies or should I say girls looked at each other and trying their hardest not to smile. Another lady came to pay the ldy said oh I will shop more, they both looked and smirked.
To both of you, if you are being judgmental this work don’t fit your attitude.
I was so close not paying and just leave but I need to buy those for presents.

I hope this will change, this is such an embarrassment to a company that sells not so cheap pajamas.

Poor customer service at the counter. Just came in to exchange one item for another for my wife. Wasn’t greeted at the counter or even spoken to by the lady completing the transaction. I already felt out of place being in a feminine store, so that didn’t help!

Poor customer service by the girls in this store.
- 4 girls behind the counter none serving
- No greeting when approaching counter to finally be served after standing their for two mins while the workers finish their conversation
lack of customer service skills from this store as Someone who works in retail and manages in the same centre I’d be ashamed if my workers treated customers this poorly

I don't buy fully priced PA pjs anymore! This is my go to shop for pjs. Lots of pjs available and different sizes. Cute ones for kids and babies too. There is always new styles in the shop. Great quality and so comfortable. Never had an issue with the ladies working there. Pretty busy on the weekends.

Everything was out of place which can be understandable due to how busy they were but when I asked for help I was completely ignored several times

If you are buying a gift for someone from Essendon DFO store and things do not go by plan and need to return it back with all the tags and receipt, make sure you DO NOT deal with DANI.

So I went in to make a return in store and first thing Dani said to me was make sure you try things on before buying next time. I have never heard that before ever. A customer  might need to return items for any number of reasons and as long as items are not worn, have tags, is within time frame and  has original receipt, customer should be able to return it without being judged.
Anyways thinking Dani is just having a crappy day, I offered her explanation that this was meant to be a gift for someone and things did not go as planned, that’s why I am returning these. Even after giving a reason, I was told AGAIN “Just saying try things on before buying in future”. I mean I am still not sure which part of my explanation Dani did not understand.

Cherry on the cake: Payment was made with Apple Pay. She had no clue how Apple Pay works and the fact that Apple pay card number is different from the physical card number. After trying to make her understand how Apple Pay works, she finally processes the refund but not without saying at least 5 times “I won’t be able to do it next time! ”. Are you serious?

If you can take my money using Apple Pay, then learn how to make a refund using Apple Pay too. If that’s something outside your scope then simply place a notice for customers “Do not pay using Apple Pay because our staff is incompetent and downright dumb to handle simple refunds in this time and age! ”

Horrendous customer service overall. Never dealt with such a junk store manager before. No idea how to converse with a customer. No idea how refund works.

What a fresh, lovely store to visit. From the gorgeous fit out of the store, to the beautiful range of sleepwear, lounge wear and underwear, to the bright friendly staff, I enjoyed my shopping experience. I also came home with a few sets of softest pairs of Bamboo pjamas that I have worn every night. Love this shop.

Good prices when there are store wide markdowns on already reduced stock. Quality is much better than you’re average sleepwear. Pricing is always confusing as each item is ticketed differently. Eg a shirt was for $39 and also $29 and then $19 too. Confusing. The customer service is totally appalling especially in the closing hour. Staff were moody and not open to help me. The younger one was argumentative while the elder one was a little more patient but clearly irritated. They need training, such a bit chain and such poorly trained staff is unexpected.

I've never been able to successfully browse the collection and buy something as the smell of the store always gives me diarrhoea and I have to leave hastily.

Nice range of clothes and prices are reasonable but customer service was bad, there was only one girl working and she was at the counter, we needed help but she did not come and say hello after 10 minutes we had to call her and when she came she wasn't really happy serving us. We still end up buying three pairs of kids clothing bcoz we loved the clothes.

This is an outlet store so don't be too upset of they don't have everything but in what they do have, the prices are awesome. The customer service was pretty good too, helpful in finding things.
