Perri is so professional yet easygoing - an absolute legend. I came to her seeking help with anxiety, which I feel a lot of people around my age (19) suffer from, yet are reluctant to get help for whatever reason. I honestly cannot recommend her enough. I've had help from traditional CBT psychologists, but nothing comes close to the impact she's had on me in just a few sessions:)

Anxiety & Depression. Men Fly Under The Radar

I would strongly endorse any guy (particularly over 40 years of age) who has had a history of Depression and/or Anxiety to book an appointment with Perri Curtis.

In this age bracket 1 in 5 guys experience Anxiety and 1 in 8 suffer from Depression. So it is way more common than most people are aware.

It has a very debilitating impact on ones well being and that of family and friends and left untreated can have diabolical outcomes.

Perri who is an absolute professional and expert in clinical hypnotherapy, uses this tool in a few but extremely effective number of consulations.

I urge anyone.from personal experience.particularly in this age bracket, to go and see Perri who can dramatically improve your well being and that of loved ones around you.

Deeper Insights

I first saw Perri when I decided I needed some insight and help in improving my performance in interviews.

I thought hypnotherapy could be useful and when I scanned the internet for local practitioners, there was one at The Sanctuary, 5 minutes from my home. Yay!

The session with Perri was great. She’s smart and very perceptive and quickly cottoned on to what was happening in my unconscious and why I was self-sabotaging. We talked about me and about things in my past and present that might be creating this interview persona; once Perri understood my issues she guided me through the hypnotherapy itself.

The process was calm and soothing as Perri’s voice took me through the ‘visualisation’ created specifically for me, for this particular situation. I felt as if I was deeply relaxed, but alert.

I left feeling energised and ready to take on the world. Eventually I attended the interview, it went really, really well and I got the job!

Since then, I’ve seen Perri for a variety of things related to personal development, understanding myself and shifting old relating habits, particularly with my partner. He’s even been to see Perri as well.

For me it’s a great way of understanding my behaviour and the conscious and unconscious impetus behind it. Again, for me, the hypnotherapy creates almost immediate change, in contrast to talking therapy which would take multiple sessions of intense dialogue.

As a VCE student I studied extremely hard and placed high expectations on myself to excel when it came to my results.

As a naturally anxious person with all the pressure I put on myself I was ridiculously nervous for my exams.

I made an appointment to see Perri with the aim of being calm leading up to and during my exams. And boy did she deliver!

During the lead up to my year 12 exams I had a few appointments. Perri was welcoming and took the time to understand why I was there, what I wanted to achieve and how I wanted to feel before and during my exams.

I had done everything possible in terms of study and thanks to Perri my mental clarity was on point going into my exams and I was no longer anxious, instead I was excited.

Seeing Perri was definitely a major factor in helping me receive my ATAR of 97.15 which allowed me to get a scholarship to University.

Now I'm in my third year of my degree and don’t feel nervous before exams at all, sometimes I even feel like I’m too relaxed.

I honestly don’t think I could have achieved what I have so far without the help of Perri who helped me create a state of confidence, clarity and calmness.

I had been suffering from lower back pain for 3 years before I went to see Perri. Over that time I tried a variety of therapies - including physio, massage, rest, back exercises, dry needling - but any improvements I gained were only ever temporary.
I love to run, but it got to the point where I had to take strong anti inflammatories after even a short run.
Perri explained how hypnotherapy could help me by blocking most of the pain messages my brain receives from my back and by directing my body to heal the cause of the pain.
After only 2 sessions with Perri I began to see an improvement, with reduced pain and increased flexibility in my back. I had 2 more sessions and, during this time, I was able to increase my running distance without the need for post-run pain relief.
A few weeks after my last appointment with Perri, I ran my first marathon! The only thing that hurt after the run were my legs! My back felt absolutely great.
I am in awe of the incredible work that Perri does. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience in clinical hypnotherapy, as well as being a warm, funny and very compassionate person.
I will definitely seek her help again for any future issues

I decided to try hypnotherapy to help end my addiction to chocolate. I didn’t know what to expect and to say I was a sceptic is putting it mildly. Throughout my hypnotherapy sessions, I was awake however relaxed at all times and at no time was I not aware of what was going on around me. I can’t believe that those two sessions of hypnotherapy have stopped me from eating chocolate, hence I’ve started to lose weight and all I’ve changed is that I no longer crave or eat chocolate. Thank You Perri - you’re the best!
