Peppers Moonah Links Resort reviews
47So beautiful and serene, over looking a golf course. Comfortable, well presented one bed room apartments. Well worth the money spent.
Beautiful casual elegance throughout best describes the Moonah Links Resort.
Gorgeous scenic view of the Golf course as you drive up the long driveway to reception.
Staff are all super friendly and helpful.
Food excellent, albeit somewhat limited menu, buffet breakfast generous with variety of hot & cold offerings. Lovely view of the Golf course from the dining area.
Accommodation is spread out which provides a peaceful & tranquil stay.
We stayed in the Executive Open rooms where the layout and design are straight out of a home magazine. Very spacious room with covered outdoor area, king sized bed & large inviting bath.
Sorrento/ Portsea and spectacular back beach views only (20) mins away and the Peninsula Hot Springs is only (10) down the road.
Looking forward to our next stay.
Excellent front-of-house staff. We stayed there with a meal package and it was terrific value. Probably a bit too much food in the end. They were clearly struggling in the restaurant with untrained staff but but they battled through and was no drama
Boys weekend playing golf. Open course was challenging on foot! No carts available. Course was in top condition as expected.
Finished at 1830. Had Parma and chips and a beer before hitting the road. Was studying and served up in good time.
The room was amazing, pretty big and had a bath as well as a shower, which you don't see often.
Only criticism, decent vegetarian options on the restaurant menu would've been nice and work on a better way of keeping your breakfast hot, it was barely warm. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.
Rude management. Food was not bad, and the floor staff are genuinely helpful albeit disorganised. Place could do with a good clean and update.
Cancelled all future bookings and will go elsewhere.
Disappointing being charged for a cart when we have to walk second time in 5 weeks. Given the hurry up by a corse Marshall for slow play on one hole only to catch up and wait for two groups in front two holes later. The corse is in good condition but greens are inconsistent. My verdict Save your money and play one of the other great courses on the peninsula.
Over priced. Needs a kitchen with a sink and utensils.
Heater wasn’t working.
Pictures on the website aren’t a true reflection to the place.
Asked for a double bed was giving a single bed and a double.
No internet connection to watch Netflix, which you needed own Netflix account
Toilet brush and hair dryers broken.
First time played there. Loved it. What.you would expect from such a well known course. Immaculate condition. Facilities were fantastic. Even though it was during this COVID outbreak. Staff were freindly and couldnt do enough. The man doing the starting was great. Pop up cafe with coffee and breakfast foods for the early starters. (Like us) was appreciated. I am going back soon to play the Open Course. Will remember to take photos.
Cannot wait.
Return guest here. From the moment we walked in, Volkan was very helpful and easy to build rapport with. He is the go to guy to help resolve any issues whilst staying here. Will definitely be back. Thank you Volkan!
Two very good challenging and different golf courses. Well maintained. Great greens. Totally excellent.
Expensive for a basic room, with small outdoor pool. Parking near Suite was impossible as insufficient parking.
Gorgeous resort! Shame the WiFi was not so good in our room, but in such a gorgeous location it was not a negative! Shout out to the young gentleman on the bar who was open and honest about his first time making an Old Fashioned. His cander and drinks were good. The lovely gentleman also hosting in the restaurant was a charmer and made our evening. In fact, all the staff were great! Really impressed.
Great food and service excellent. Accommodations good with very good golf courses. 36 holes and a day Spa to revive you after the game.
Decent golf course. Some bunkers need a updated around the mouth/lips. Wide fairway and big green.
Great location with comfortable, modern, well appointed rooms, beautiful views over the golf course and a lovely restaurant. Shared a beautiful dinner. Great staff. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.
Maybe for the price you could get a discount for the breakfast? 2 for one would be ok
But everyone was wonderful in there approach to us from reception to bar staff
Spent a relaxing night here. So quiet and peaceful and right on the golf coarse if your into that. Can be pricey but well worth it
Stayed last night for a wedding. Only live half an hour down the road. Want to come back tomorrow and stay a week! Don't play golf but about to learn. Bunnies on the putting green outside my window at 6am! Fabulous staff. You don't need to play golf to stay here. Tranquil and serene. Highly recommend a stay here!
Love this place. Staff are amazing and I just love the open rooms. Huge bath and comfy bed. Beautiful views over the golf course and close to Peninsula Hot Springs. Don't miss St. Andrews Brewery either, staff will organise a free lift there and back.
