Peppers Moonah Links Resort reviews
70What a disappointing experience.room was fine and looked out to the putting green but would have been better if it was cleaned properly- two dead spiders on the kitchen bench and another near the bathroom sink among other issues. Average breakfast buffet and terrible self serve coffee- lukewarm and weak espresso. On the day we were to check out we were very rudely told by cleaning staff more than 20 mins before check out they needed us to get out of the room as they had to clean it. This happened 3 times- they were pretty insistent to hurry us along. I emailed Peppers Moonah Links the day this happened and got no response- followed up a week later, still no response, pretty poor. Go someone else and save yourself the disappointment.
Great from start to finish. Staff from guest services to restaurant and housekeeping all friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice. Room service and breakfast buffet amazing! Loved our stay and can't wait to return
The room was filthy and tired. Guests shouldn't have to complain to get a clean room. It should be included in the price. Housekeeping staff need supervision and retraining. It ruined our anniversary. Never to return.
Booked in here for as I was playing golf at Moonah Links that day and off to the hot springs the next day (under a ten minute drive away).
Great locations for each and only a 15mins away from other restaurants if you don’t want to eat on-sight (but the menu and food is great and it’s a nice quiet atmosphere).
Was very lucky that I got a free room upgrade overlooking the 1st tea and sunset. Nice deep bath and quiet/comfortable room.
Plenty on on-site parking (free).
Extremely disappointed with staff response to an expensive item left in our room on departure. No communication or follow up from staff, even after a barrage of phone calls and three emails. Requested to speak to a manager, three weeks have passed, and still no response! It’s really concerning that no-one at Peppers including managers, have taken any responsibility or accountability to ensure lost items are returned to their guests. My experience with Peppers, is evidence, that ignoring their guests requests, and hoping they just give up is the best they can do!
Beautiful area, views of the golf course. Lovely secluded peaceful place. Loved the recreational area able to borrow golf clubs and balls to play 9 hole
Beautiful quite location, overall the room wasn't bad, however when we arrived it was like a sauna in there! And it was only a 2e degree day and also a ground floor unit. We slept with the aircon on all night as it was extremely stuffy and even with the aircon on the lowest setting you can set them on (21 degrees) it still felt stuffy and that was on a 15 degree evening, would hate to see what it felt like on a proper summers day. The TV was also faulty and had a huge dead spot which was dossapointing. The exhaust fan in the ensuite had a serious issue, I've heard jet planes that are quieter.
You'd expect better for the price you pay. The restaurant was good and the food quality spot on, however we ordered a few cocktails and asked what was in them and the staff members had absolutely no idea and provided us a panflet explaining what was in them. Some further knowledge needed there. The breakfast buffet was very good with super friendly helpful staff catering to whatever you needed. I would go back if I were to go to the HotSprings again as it is quite close. Apparently you can book transfers to and from via golf buggy which I did try to book the day prior but had no response, when we arrived I was told need to book at least 2 hours before needing one usually, we arrived an hour or so before we needed to get to the HotSprings, but the staff member didn't seem to interested in finding out if it was possible or not, so we just drove. Good location, rooms need some maintenence.
If you're looking for a peaceful and stunning escape, then look no further than Pepper Moonah Link. The rooms are incredibly spacious and offer plenty of comfort, while the view from the property is absolutely stunning - it's the kind of place that will take your breath away.
But the real standout feature of this place is the food - it's simply amazing. Every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming - they really make you feel at home.
One of the best things about Pepper Moonah Link is its proximity to the Murray Lookout, which is just a short drive away. It's one of the best lookouts in VIC and an experience you simply can't miss. The view from the lookout is breathtaking and it's the perfect place to get lost in thought and connect with nature.
Overall, my stay at Pepper Moonah Link was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful escape.
I loveeeed staying here! My partner booked a room for my birthday and it was the absolute best. The staff are lovely and the room was so beautiful, clean and peaceful. We even ate at the breakfast buffet and was so full and satisfied. Highly recommend staying here, we’ll always be staying here from now on when we are at the peninsula!
Absolutely love this place. 2 great golf courses excellent staff and great food. So peaceful and luxurious. I will definitely itely be back.
Absolutely gorgeous golf course with nice, clean and spacious rooms. The included breakfast was amazing too. Will definitely be back again.
Nothing negative to say about this property. The staff are wonderful, the resort is quiet and beautiful. The check-in was smooth - you collect your room key at reception and drive directly to your room! There are different complexes that house the different types of rooms. My bestie and I booked the Open Room and it’s the best one! Great views from the bath tub and room. We’ve always stayed at Peppers every time we visit the Hot Springs!
Stunning location, rooms were very spacious and clean. Only negative would be some of the furniture is looking a bit tired and could do with an upgrade but overall a lovely break away.
Breakfast was great with lots of options and again looking out on the fabulous views.
Nice location, did not play the golf course but nice area to walk around and relax. Recreation area for mini golf, badminton and volleyball was good as an alternate activity for the family.
Fantastic golf trip. The courses are challenging but brilliant (would recommend a buggy!). Very well maintained. Peppers itself is superb. Delicious food and drinks. Happy hour on a Friday which was a bonus and a band on too who were also brilliant. We stayed for 2 nights. Will definitely be returning.
The hotel itself was amazing, the view was incredible. We ordered room service and the food was pretty good.
However our shower head was disgusting, luckily there was an outdoor shower. It looked like it had mold on it. Yet we only realised at around 7 at night and had to shower in the cold, as we were told they would clean it in the morning.
We left for activities and came back to find our rooms cleaned however the shower still not cleaned. It was disappointing, since we needed to use the shower and couldn’t use the outdoor during the day, and wasn’t cleaned even though we were assured it would be.
However everything else was amazing and we still enjoyed our trip. The view from our room was beautiful and so was the room.
First they upgraded us, the team and room were amazing, and uber comfortable. LOVED IT! And they also allowed us to have a late check out which was AMAZING! Just loved the whole experience and DEFINATLY will be heading back when I can. No faults in the sevice and attention to detail. Amazing team at the resort.
This hotel was our first stop on my partner's surprise birthday weekend and we arrived approx. 7pm on a Friday night. It was very quiet and we were able to check in with ease and drive to our room. We were the lower level and in a room that had been recently refurbished. It was spacious and clean, and the bathrooms were a great size.
I had booked a package that included the room, buffet breakfast and a 2 course dinner. The dinner was to die for! We had the oysters and pork belly for entree and the steak, gnocchi, duck fat potatoes and carrots for main. Could not fault any of it, we would return just for the food!
As it was my partner's birthday they also kindly placed a bottle of wine with birthday wishes in our room for arrival (thank you!).
Breakfast was good, simple but nice buffet with views of the golf course.
Great location and experience for a weekend away. Too busy enjoying ourselves to take many photos!
Absolutely DISGUSTING room. Booked the Bedroom suite with kitchen and was horrified at the absolute filth on glasswear and kitchen utensils with stains and makeup. Cooking pot had colonies of MOLD and Moonah links are too embarrassed to reply to multiple emails with photo proof. Wouldn’t recommend staying in this dirty microbiology lab. Wasn’t the first stay either with dirty dishes. Try staying at the Cape Schnack RACV Resort. Similar price and
very clean. Will be passing the information onto the health department for further investigations.
Rest and relaxation. Great spot close to the Peninsula Hot Springs with 2 championship golf courses.
