PeoplePlus Bendigo / Asuria reviews
15 Tried roping me into a group session in regards to what jobs are out there for us to apply for without even telling me before I showed up. As far as I knew it was a general catch up appointment to see how the job search effort was going. I was already working 3 jobs while also dealing with poor mental health and it still wasn't good enough, staff were pushing me to get a 4th job which was really daunting and stressful.
After cancelling the payment I was getting, suspending my need to attend these appointments, staff kept on contacting me months upon months later asking how my job search effort was going, even after asking many times to delete my contact details.
At the risk I may never receive the refund I was promised, I feel I'm left with few choices. Being referred to this place by centrelink, they begin with many promises, a big one is to fund for uniforms, shoes pants etc for a new job. I took them at their word and bought 2 pair new pants with the understanding I give them the receipt and they reimburse me. I bought work pants in Oct of 2021, it's now Jan 2022, and still no payment. I strongly suggest to anyone with them to wait for a day for them to pay on THEIR business card, or you will be out of pocket a long time.
This agency has forced my partner into a job 30 minutes away, without letting him know and without any way to get out there.
I'm very disappointed with the way they have handled this. I will be taking it up directly with Centrelink.
REMINDER TO EVERYONE:
You can change job service providers at anytime by contacting Centrelink or the department of employment.its not difficult. It is a right that has been available to job seeking Australians since 2018.
Communications within Asuria need to be improved as the current means of internal communications are heavily flawed making it very difficult for job seekers and employers alike
Not very understanding towards people with anxiety since they changed their name and staff, the woman i met with over wrote my current plan, i have only just met her- the focus was meant to be my mental health instead they just threatened to cut my payment off if i don't look for work.i have trouble leaving the house by myself and have not driven my car in almost 2 years but i guess ill just go back to having no income.terrible not understanding they don't care- absolutely do no recommend these people at all.
Went to my appointment and the doors were locked, people were inside so I rang the doorbell and no one answered so I knocked, nothing. I called the head office and even that guy was confused and couldn’t get a hold of anyone.so I went home because the guy on the phone said he will mark it down that I did attend the appointment. I then got a phone call from the person I was suppose to see and she was really nice (only reason I’m not giving 1 star). So I had my appointment over the phone. Then today I get a text saying my payments are suspended because I didn’t attend my appointment? So I tried to call them, I was on hold for 9.5 minutes before it eventually told me to leave a message at the beep. They’re SO hard to contact! I’ll be surprised if they call me back.
No point in giving a review but I will anyway.
Missed phone appointment by 2 minutes. Call back, no answer. Call Austria bendigo, no answer. Called again and they sent provider an email. Called me back 30 mins later, 'I missed the appointment, well book it for 4 days from now. I want people plus back.
This is an older review, but iv always had a super pleasant experience with this provider. I mean the mindless work they have to do for people trying to actively avoid work I can see why they become the way they are but generally speaking if you showed an effort that were always amazing.
They expected me to magically get a job by sitting at a computer there for 2 hours a day, 4 days a week with no resume or any help whatsoever. Absolutely useless, and rude!
Receptionists & some staff are really nice & deserve 4-5 stars.
But this feedback is about one of the recruitment staff.
Who simply does not have any manners. Shes very rude, highly volatile and very obnoxious. She gets away with speaking harshly to clients, while the other staff sit around & do not say anything about her behavior?
Maybe she is suffering from a superiority complex? Whatever the reason I find here behavior and attitude appalling.
Very rude and unhelpful are lacking experience don't know how it's still operating. Very disappointed in the way I was treated by People Plus Bendigo never have I felt so upset and looked down on before will be taking this issue further.
Treated with unbelievabe condescesion. 'do you know why you are here? ' was Melisa's opening gambit. 'Can you read this? '. So I read the jobactive contract. 'Did you read it? '. 'Yes'. At which point she commences pointing to the paragraphs one by one and reading them aloud to me? Informed her I was 62yrs and she goes on to tell me if I dont gain employment in 6mnths I must work for the dole. Absolutely misleading. Never took the time to establish my circumstances / skills and then inform me re the system. Hopeless and coercive manner that is underpinned by a totally 'phoney' persona. Someone who should not be in the job.
Wonderful and caring Job Provider, Mel has shown me nothing but respect and never gave up in helping me. Thank you Mel and David, we did it, am working Could not have done it without you.
Useless they have never helped me get any jobs just hand you a piece of paper and tell you to come back in a few weeks.
Rude Horrible people, this network should be closed down, they treat people like dirt, no respect at all and most people have never been sent to a job interview just work for the dole, so it should be called work for the dole recruitment service. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because they dont have zero stars. USELESS
