Penola Catholic College reviews
16Probably the worst school I’ve seen. My son always comes home complaining about the English teacher and how they don’t teach them anything. I have noticed this as between last year and this year there has definitely been a drop in his grade. If you are think about sending your kid here, reconsider.
The teachers are soooo annoying and all of them leave in the first week, the only good thing abt the school is Maria.also Im not paying $7 for a slice of coles frozen pizza: p
Do not recommend this Devil worshipping Roman Catholic Church school. Generally speaking, the teachers have no clue. Some teachers are rude. There is no discipline, the curriculum structure is garbage, it's almost kaos.
"Penola Catholic College is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. " Don't you believe it
The staff bully other staff at general events. They use silent treatment and are passive aggressive.
It is such a pity because most of the students are sweet and considered from what I have seen of interschool events. Some seem a bit entitled and push the boundaries with uniform but in every school these students exist.
If you want a Catholic education. Avoid. Staff are more concerned with just about everything else.even the promotion of anti-religious movements. Secular schools do the same job.
I don't go to this school I just unfortunately have to live in the area
The music is constantly going off on weekends even though there's nobody there (this keeps my children awake)
And the kids at the school are absolutely feral.
Never have I seen a group of kids trying to pick fights with adults at the train station until Ive seen the students at this crummy school.
Even rang up the teachers and principal to talk about it and so far, nothing after 4 complaints.
Hire some better stuff, I grew up in the south east of Melbourne and even that's better than this "Catholic school"
It’s an ok school, the only thing is teachers will do absolutely nothing about bullying. I know from personal experience.
I walked into the toilets on the 11th of February of 2021 and I walked into the toilets and a bunch of people were vaping and recording me behind my back while I was using the urinal.
Horrible and disorganised school. The staff here are extremely rude and disrespectful and the coordinator of students is always looking to punish as many students as possible. The students here are immensely immature and the teachers do nothing about it. My son was punched in the face by another student and he received a punishment of internal suspension for being punched in the face. This school has a violence issue and it is yet to be dealt with. I highly advise anyone who is considering sending their child here to reconsider.
I take back what I said, Thank you for trying to help things out. The misunderstanding, cause now I have some closures
I'm currently at this school.if your child isn't "normal" then it would be harder for them to make any friends, but the teachers and everything else is fantastic, just the students are a bit.but you can't really change that can you? Oh well
Decent school. Teaches students well when student apply to their learning.
Socially, there is a divide as popular kids are on the fields and you got the library goblins found deep in the dark depths of the library. Just don't be too weird or you'll end up alone. And only send your kids here after they understand how bad public schools are so they can be grateful of their ten thousand dollar education.
Gotta get good RNG with the scholar stats but otherwise the boss fights are easy. Wave clear might need work though. =/ i recommend using a crit build and early SS ing the work. The percentage grading system cuccs low accuracy runs early game. Good MMORPG, Nice crafting system and Talent/Skill point system
It's good all because of one humanities teacher MR. T********, however this school really needs to improve their teaching
I'm Going to be year 7 next year can anyone tell me what time does it start and what time it ends
I think penola is very good school who provide edumacation for every srudent i like penora hahahahahahaha buh food too expensive lol
Just to touch base on my most recent review, Penola essentially creates a very kind, trustworthy, helpful learning environment for all to enjoy, having such an environment creates more opportunities for students to express their feelings and follow their dreams with fully pledged support the whole way, The Penola students show exceptional growth and often go straight into working a full time job after completing their schooling journey. The location of the schools play a big part of there adulthood lives as they learn how to protect themselves as it is locate in the infamous suburb Broadmedows, however the Broadmeadows shopping center is just across the road, having this here teaches the students attending how to wisely spend their money and see how people working in retail and other full time job opportunities that can arise for said students. This school sets many high expectations and the students consider them as challenges and handle them with care and good spirit, overall this school is definitely one to consider going to.
I am just kidding this school is just terrible, the teacher have bad pay and have no enthusiasm teaching, there is almost always fights in and out of school with the common line "broady station cuz" this often means there will be a fight at the station after school hours, They have lots of strict confusing rules that shouldn't be rules such as short hair, earrings and having to have your hair tied back. The teachers are dull and boring (paps) that only follow the book, everything i have learnt here i will never use in everyday life because it was useless, terrible and just an all round bad time.
