The team here were all fantastic and would respond to queries promptly during what was a very stressful time! Nitro has recovered well from his procedure and we literally owe his life to the team at Peninsula Vet

I didn’t call ahead but rushed in with my sick dog. A nurse came straight away to check his vitals and we were seen promptly. The veterinarian was lovely and very good with Boofa. He was treated correctly and had surgery at his normal vet the following day. They said that had he not had the treatment here he would have died.
That speaks for itself.

The care and expertise was exceptional by all staff…. Drs, nurses and receptionists. Our baby Bob and us thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You all are miracle workers and we are so appreciative to your hard work and dedication.

My cat Leo, was referred here by my local Vet and I cannot speak more highly of the professional and capable team at Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital. I have been kept up-to-date at all times with how Leo is progressing and have every confidence and trust that Leo is being very well cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend the hospital.

Elee, Arthur and the team looked after our husky with great care and expertise in the removal of a large sarcoma and the accompanying skin graft. Their genuine care for both pets and owners is second to none. Highly recommended. Thank you - from Seb

I had to take my 10 month old Blue Heeler after she auffered a head injury and had a seizure. From the receptionist to the nurses and vet i had the best experience. My pup was so well cared for. She had to stay overnight and i received an update from the vet. I didnt read the reviews for here until i got home and i was so relieved that she was in the best hands. The price was very reasonable for the care my pup received. I highly recommend this vets for any emergency with your animals.

Our very loved West Highland White Terrier required knee surgery. We received great service, were kept informed and our beautiful Hamish received excellent care. When we collected him after 48 hours, despite the surgery being major, he was calm and comfortable. This is the standard you want when you entrust your family members to others.

My Greyhound had a seizure. Because it wasn't an emergency by the time I reached them I had to wait four hours to see a vet but the vet was helpful. It was very expensive.

They were fantastic in ensuring my dog's health was good. Communicated and discussed clearly what they thought was the issue and provided me with expected costs

The most kind and caring clinic I’ve ever experienced, on a very stressful day my poor kitty was triaged and his emergency procedure begun without delay. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough and would be happy to entrust any of my fur babies future care to the team.

We’ll run business, a lot better than frankston emergency. If you can ever make the drive from frankston to mornington I would strongly advise it if your pet can get there.

I sadly had to put my elderly dog to sleep. They were all very kind and amazing throughout the entire ordeal.

These guys are just brilliant in every way. The team is empathetic and welcoming, the expertise is awesome – and their commitment to animal welfare is authentic (they have since been in touch with the rescue service I found my Stachi through). My little rescue was born with a bunch of challenges (cleftie – and a Frenchie – what a combo!) and I searched (and met with) several vets before finding the very kind and decent (and eminently well qualified for the task ahead) Dr Arthur House at PenVet. I have made the round trip from my home in regional Victoria down the Mornington maybe six times excluding the visit to ‘interview’ them the first time – and they are worth the five hour round trip. (And they were always so understanding about my need race to use the loo almost immediately on arrival every time as a result!). My little guy Stachi has made it through three surgeries (all with overnight stays needed – palate repairs, breathing apparatus corections – you name it) and has come a long way since I took him in for that first consult when he was about 7 months old – he’s now coming up to his second birthday and a thriving, joyful little guy who can eat and breath properly. It was such a relief to get that call after each operation had completed to know he was safely out of anaesthetic. Every consult and conversation over the past 12 months has been done patiently and generously. Plus - the team at PenVet did not make a dent in Stachi’s confidence that everyone he comes across loves him (they usually do) and understands his joyful position at the centre of the universe. My only criticism is the earnest advice after each surgery to restrict Stachi’s activity for two or three weeks. Hilarious. My guy will party with the corner of a bathmat and celebrates the journey of leaf falling. But I admire the hope and the care with which the advice at each discharge.

The two times I've unfortunately had to attend this clinic, my pet was seen promptly and treated with the utmost care. I've been to the next closest emergency vet and while I am grateful to them for keeping my pet alive, I also know (though consultation with other vets) that I was significantly overcharged. I can honestly say, I've never experienced that at PenVet and all the vets and staff are incredible.

Amazing - could not have been in better hands - I was able to sleep at night knowing my beautiful boy Max was in the very best of care after sustaining serious injuries after being hit by a car. His overall care & recovery at PVE and the reason he is here today is because of PVE. I cannot express how grateful I am. Thank you everyone at PVE, Liz M
