Peninsula Home reviews
42Picked up parcel from Harvey Norman. Product good service not so good. Communication between departments in my opinion needs fixing.
This review relates to the EV charging facilities provided at the centre, the chargers themselves are great, but the first issue is that there are 4 charging ports yet only two of the parking bays in front of them are labelled as "EV charging only", this results in combustion engine car drivers parking in the other two bays hogging them so they can nip into the chemist or to the cafe for a coffee, today I managed to get a spot and plug in but watched 4 people in regular cars use the other bays to go into the chemist or the cafe, this is simply not on, we EV owners have a limited enough selection of charging locations as it is especially on the peninsula without some self entitled regular car owner hogging these charging car parks for their own needs. More needs to be done to discourage combustion engine car drivers from parking in these bays, perhaps more clear signage? I hope this review gets read and some action taken to improve availability of the bays for actual EV owners, I would then be happy to increase the star rating to 5!
There is now a JB hi-fi located here, which is my favorite shop ever. And it's really nice having one so close to the Mornington Peninsula.
Good rang of stores for furnishings, electrical, car, office supplies and pet with Bunnings around the corner.
So many places so many bargains you will have to take you're time to look for the bargains.
Lincraft has closed permanently, wondering what new business will move in, I hope it is spotlight?
Still the same old HomeCo. Lots of interesting businesses inside the centre, from ALDI, Office Works, sheridan, Amart, and the great Sober Mule, to Harvey Norman, Early Settler, etc.
Really good spot with great shops. But sadly, Lincraft has closed so now Spotlight or some other shop like that is badly needed.
We have the option of Mornington or Frankston for things like Officeworks, Harvey Norman etc. From home there is about 2km difference in travel. Mornington is 9 out 10 times the go to.
Spent a good couple of hours here. I parked in the middle and went to all the shops I needed to go to. It's a busy poorly designed car park. Entry and exits onto both Nepean hwy and Bungower Rd.
Went to Office Works. Nice little store. Staff are really helpful without being in your face. I have been a few times always a good easy experience.
I took my daughter and she lead me in the wrong direction and we both ended up spending more than we should. VERY BAD PLACE!
Has all the stores in one place and good parking, like so many of these large centres, saves travelling to find the items you need
We went into a few stores I won't mention them probably was the holiday season most of the staff did not want to help us so we left the shops
Whilst not a huge shopping precinct it has lots of major names and you will find most things here. Also a lovely flower to look at.
Only gave 4 stars as I only popped in to see my daughter who works at Forty Winks. Very busy shopping area. Might have a good look around next time I'm down there.
Apart from being a bit short of stock, due to delivery delays, the prices were very good as was the quality of the furniture. I was buying furniture for my daughter and her husband as a house warming gift for their new place. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Also answered any questions I had. 5 for the staff. Would shop there again.
Ordering online from Dan's is nice and easy. They deliver within 2 to 4 biz days right to your front door. No signing or fuss. Or just drop in pick up on the spot.
Pretty decent selection of stores, however it is apparent that this place is mainly for home appliances and things of the sort.
Its not a super huge centre but it had what i need ed. The staff in all the shops were lovely to me.
Struggled early on to attract customers but now is a real force. Aldi and Bunnings provide the day to day shopping and a host of home retailers. Excellent.
