16Awful experience. Waited an hour past my appointment time. Finally saw Dr Darling to be in for 15 minutes and pretty much dismissed and told he didn’t need to see me again. I’m now riddled with an awful skin condition all over my arms and legs. And $370 for all that didn’t go down to well. Disappointed is an understatement!
Hugh Roberts and his team are great. The front office staff and very efficient, professional and friendly! I have been having treatment there for an ongoing skin condition and could not be happier with the team at the clinic!
Tried to book which was a terrible customer experience. Not much information provided on the website. Seems like a closed circle of customers without accepting new ones. Would not recommend if you are in the area. You will be waiting a while from step 1 to step 2.
My daughter is a patient of Dr Hugh Roberts and I would highly recommend. We had been to other dermatologists without success. He has managed to treat her skin issues, he’s called us on a couple of occasions to follow up and has a lovely manner.
Our daughter who had a really bad rash & now almost recovered. We really appreciate & are thankful that Dr. Hugh Roberts took the time to try & fit us into his busy schedule. On top of that to give us a follow up call to ensure everything is alright with our daughter. I hope that other special cases are taken into consideration when fixing an appointment.
Only rating 5 stars so people read-
as a NURSE/ dermatologist i would think you would be organised.soz not soz a 2 year old would be more competent on this job xxxx
reception loosing scripts and then arguing with patients on who lost it.it’s not on…
Brilliant, thorough, friendly. Dr Meani Picked up my melanoma when others had failed. Wait was about 5 mins. I would have happily waited hours for the service I received.
Waited months to see Dr Rennick. He was unsure of my skin condition which was darkening skin around my face. Suggested I try a new toothpaste? Which he said was the cause of the skin discolouration above my lip, which doesn’t explain the discolouration on my forehead or nose. Used the cream that he prescribed and it made the condition worse! Saw another dermatologist from another clinic who said I had melasma and that the prescribed cream he gave me is well known to make the condition worse. An absolute waste of time and money. Would never recommend anyone go here. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Clearly looking for a TRICHOLOGIST, not a dermatologist, called and asked the question. "Yes, we have trichologists". (I had seen a Trichologist years ago in Collins St.) Got some details, went to Doc for a referral, called back. In making appointment, I re-confirmed I'd see a TRICHOLOGIST, and was told no - I'd see a dermatologist; no trichologists here. LUCKY I asked, or months of waiting, and quite a cost would be lost. Typical money grubbing manipulation.
Highly recommend! Staff are lovely, nurses are fantastic and Dr Marguerite Seith is amazing! So pleased with her treatment & advice- thank you!
This is the second time I am here and it's the second time I have had to wait for more that 45 minutes to see the doctor when the appointment was booked 3 months in advance. So very unprofessional.
I was delighted with the focus on attention to detail. Every inch of my body was closely examined. I left feeling that I had been thoroughly examined by a truly dedicated expert in the field of dermatology and my doctor had a wonderfully gentle communication manner, as he explained his examination findings to me.
Wait was about 40 minutes after my husband’s appointment time. Mole check was very brief followed by recommendations that you could potentially find on the internet.
We asked about a localised itch and was told “not sure, try an antihistamine” which my husband has been taking for years and obviously didn’t work.
No biopsy was taken to test the area in order to diagnose what is actually happening in that localised area.
The dermatologist was very nice however and answered some of my questions even though I did not have an appointment which I really appreciated!
$175 for a 3 minute appointment. And the reception was very rude. Don't even want to give them 1 star after that.
