Peninsula Cinemas Warragul reviews
33There wasn't any wheelchair OR wheelie walker access made it difficult for disabled people
Was a great night out staff was polite and quick service the cinema was clean and was a great night out
Comfortable, older cinema. Good location parking away from Cinema. Only stairs so not suitable for wheelchair accessability
Nice cinema. Reasonable seating. Good screen size. The disabled elevator is out of commission atm.
The staff are friendly and professional the cinema itself was clean and tidy. Always a joy to go too.
Although it’s an old cinema, you always get the new movies. Always a great experience with awesome popcorn
Worst cinema I’ve ever been too, way overpriced, and the customer service was horrendous, absolutely appalling I don’t usually make reviews but I need to say this, avoid the young girl at the desk she was blatantly rude and wouldn’t help us at all
I found the experience to be a satisfactory one, the audio was decent and the cinema was clean. I would go back.
It's never busy so you can always get good seats. Staff are very friendly and the place is always clean.
Haven't been to the cinemas in like 5 years. I have been double vaxxed to keep working but I don't have the bit of paper on me. I get questioned and while I'm looking for my paperwork the clerk let 4 people through without asking. Not worth your money it's a complete rip off. Go elsewhere.
Boxing day we saw the Matrix - easy online booking. Excellent friendly service at candy bar and entrance. Disappointed more people weren't there, I hope the small cinema has the support of locals to stay open long term.
My favourite cinema! Staff are always friendly and the popcorn is sooo good. They show all the films the big cinemas show, have comfy seats and great screens and sound. 10/10
For a regional cinema they try their best. I am disappointed by the lack of trailers before the main movie. Also the toilets could use an upgrade but it might have to be post Covid
Most of the staff here were great. Unfortunately the lack of cleanliness leading up to the cinema and inside was a bit off putting.
I love supporting my local cinema whenever I can during these uncertain times, especially with a circuit breaker lockdown popping up at a moments notice. Ticket prices are great and the food and beverage prices aren't too bad either. The only minor issue I have, would be that the cinema seats can become slightly uncomfortable after a while and this is the only reason why I deducted a star from the scoring system. Everything else is great!
Would have given 5 stars but there was rubbish from the moment i walked in to sitting in cinema. Otherwise happy over all.
Great cinema with all the latest and also show case films. Friendly and helpful staff. Theatre is always clean and tidy and variety of snacks.
Moved to Warragul recently and love these cinemas. Clean, comfy and lovely staff. Always look forward to visiting.
Always go here for every movie that comes out! Seatings great, a little bit squishy for taller people, but on the whole it's very good
Cinema lovely - BUT town parking during the day a REAL NIGHTMARE
This lovely old cinema and the cute cafe's near by are being let down by the extremely nasty daytime parking set up in town.
** Everything in the same block as the cinema is only 1 hour parking so not long enough for a movie!
** Everything 2 blocks away is still only 2 hour parking 'almost' long enough for a movie if you are lucky - BUT no time to stop into one of the Cafe's for coffee or lunch before or after!
** 3 blocks away there is a bit of limited 3 hour parking - BUT it is mostly retired people who want to go to the movies in the day time and who wants to walk 3 blocks!? !
It is shameful and will certainly affect business for both the cinema AND the cafes. City should provide dedicated cinema parking where we show our tickets or similar!
We ended up parking in 2 hour parking and arrived 15 minutes before the movie. We would have had something to eat afterward, but didn't bother because as it was when we got out of the movie we were 10 minutes past our 2 hours by the time we got back to our car. We live between Pakenham and Warragul, but as much as we would like to give our business to the small town of Warragul, for any day time movies we will be driving to Fountain Gate instead!
