Peninsula Aero Club reviews
14 Great little airport to visit and watch the kight aircraft coming and going. Constant action on nice sunny days. Take your own food and drinks and make use of the picnic tables.
Can get right up close to the runway.
Just at Pac to follow on my training under the carefully supervised instructor ticking all the boxes, cannot wait for my next visit see you all very soon
Love this place. Lots to see and staff are great.
Great way to learn and get into aviation.
Fantastic friendly people, happy to chat and answer any questions you might have about planes. Good coffee van too!
Just had my first flight as a passenger with my son. The aero club is a great environment for anyone who wants to be a pilot. Enthusiastic instructors have really made the experience fun. They have mentored my son through his license exams and practical flying lessons. Friendly and helpful with so much experience. Great community to be involved in.
Riley gave amazing service! Please consider promotion, he is a lovely guy and was so handsome and charming. Beautiful!
Peninsula Aero Club owns the Tyabb Airfield which hosts the magnificent Tyabb Air Show every 2 years. The PAC is mainly a flight training school although it does offer Charter services and social events. Small airfield where you can get right up close to the planes, in many cases parked only a couple of Metres from the carpark. A popular place to come and watch planes landing an getting ready to fly from really close up. Many people will bring a picnic etc and sit at one of the many outdoor tables or sit on the grass to watch the activity. Quite a few restored warbirds are hangared here and if you're lucky you'll see one of them taken out for a flight. One of my favourites is the Trojan, the Harley Davidson of fighter planes. Unlike most Airfields, which are located some distance from towns, Tyabb Airfield is actually located in Tyabb, a small country town. So grabbing a takeaway and eating it fresh whilst plane spotting is very easy.
Host to one of the best airshows in the country Outstanding airfield to visit or fly from. Outstanding community asset!
Great school, great Club with experienced and highly skilled instructors, staff and friendly members! I have completed my Aerobatic endorsement and now doing Tailwheel endorsement. Looking forward to Formation endorsement as well. Thank you guys! Strongly recommend!
Unfriendly people lead by a power hungry president who is in constant litigation with the local shire. At present the club is in breach of orders to cease operations.
Luv this awsome place
friendly people
heaps of cool planes
beautiful airstrip
every weekend me and my son there
Just amazing how you people packed in so many aircraft in one afternoon, and performing so many presentations and combinations.
I watched much of the day with binoculars except for the close ups. One gets so much extra with them.
The best $55.00 I have ever spent. Please keep up these great events.
Airshow was awesome! Some talented pilots with some incredible machines and aerobatics. Would have loved to see a jet, but cannot complain!
Great aero club atmosphere with friendly staff. I turned up as a visiting pilot from NSW and had no booking, Riley was able to slot me in with no fuss.
Flew a club C152 with Andre, who is a great instructor and a asset to the team. I look forward to flying with you guys again when I am next in Vic!
