Penguin Childcare Caroline Springs

We were on a wait list for penguin for over a year and having had both my daughters in care at Penguin for the last 5 years, I understand why there is a long wait list for this centre. The staff at Penguin Caroline Springs are kind, caring, compassionate and really do care about the children's development, their needs and their well being.

The educators go out of their way to build a sense of community and really support a great environment for the children to learn and develop various skills. They helped build my daughters' confidence, resilience, discipline and love for learning - which went a long way to prepare my oldest daughter for school! We are very grateful for the work they did.

In addition, the management staff are nothing short of phenomenal. Most recently we have been dealing with Emma and Julie who are both great at what they do and attend to parents' needs/requests efficiently and effectively.

Julie has shown exemplary customer service by being very responsive to calls/emails and face-to-face enquiries. She is very understanding and always goes the extra mile to explain things clearly and follow up on anything she says she will do. She is always willing to drop what she is doing to have a chat at pick-up/drop-off and has a warm and friendly mannerism.

As a family who is from interstate, it is so incredibly comforting to find a Childcare centre with a group of dedicated, caring, friendly, trusting and happy staff who ultimately adore the kids. We can't speak highly of all the staff who work at Penguin Childcare Caroline Springs and the confidence and skills they are embedding into our two kids. Keep up the incredible work, we are so appreciative of all you do and thank you for everything.

My Daughter and Son loves the educators at Penguin Childcare, they feel safe enough to run up to them and give them big cuddles. Emma, Julie and all of the educators have been nothing but helpful. They take your worries seriously and are super accomodating, my kids have learnt so much going there and love going there! They have built such good relationships with the educators making you feel at ease leaving them.

My daughter attended Penguins Childcare for over 2 years and our experience was nothing short of amazing. All the staff are so caring and accommodating. They always kept me up to date with what my daughter was doing via the app and if I ever called to check in they would ease my anxiety. The manager Emma went above and beyond to always help out especially when needing extra days. The center is always so clean and tidy and the different rooms are so engaging for children. Definitely recommend.

I have had nothing but awful experiences with trying to get a tour at Penguin Caroline Springs. At my first phone call, Julie was immediately rude, dismissive and unhelpful and said I could only get a tour if I booked online. I then booked online and turned up with my 6 month old today. When Julie let me in, she said “you here for a tour? ” and then said “before we do the tour, when are you looking to start? ” I told her June or July and she bluntly told me they were fully booked and that I should have spoken to the centre before booking the tour. Which, of course I did, in which case she rudely told me to book online. She said there wasn’t any point doing the tour and gave me no indication of how long the wait list was.

I’ve honestly never experienced such a rude and dismissive bedside manner in ten years of picking up and dropping off my nieces and nephews from daycare. I told Julie this had been a terrible experience as a first time mum with a small baby feeling really nervous about putting him in daycare so young. She couldn’t have cared less and I’m shocked that a centre with such positive reviews has such a low standard when it comes to the first point of contact with the centre.

I’m really upset and disappointed that my first experience with any daycare has been so negative. I would have happily put him on a wait list but I’m not prepared to send my son somewhere with such rude staff.

I felt so comfortable Leaving my girls here. They always came home happy and clean!

The staff and management go above and beyond for you and your children which makes going back to work a whole lot easier!

I absolutely love this Childcare, the staff and educators are very supportive to kids and parents. Educators love to provide daily or monthly feedback! The app Xplor is great and super user friendly. Most importantly my son loves it here:)

My kids have been attending penguin since my oldest daughter was 3, she is now in grade 2 and my son in prep with my youngest 3 year old there still… could not be more happier with how amazing all the staff have been! ALL OF THEM! My kids love still being able to say hi when we do pick up for my youngest! A big shout out to the Amazing front desk team… Emma & Julie! Yous make my day better as well as my kids! Yous are truly amazing and glad my kids get to be lucky enough to attend penguin Caroline springs. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

My daughter loves Penguin Childcare and are feeling safe and secure when in care. This centre is promoting exceptional education. The management and educators are professional, reliable and responsive, they all together are very friendly, caring and enthusiastic. My child loves attending this centre, highly recommended!

Hudson always speaks so highly of Michael and seems to really enjoy his company when he is in the kinder room or at the end of day when they are in the grouping room. He is always polite, and welcoming or farewells Hudson until next time, making him feel truly cared for, as a mum this is very important. Knowing your son is confident and feels safe and secure in his environment away from home. Michael is very practical and patient with us during the pickup process, never rushing us along even though I can see he is sometimes under a bit of pressure with multiple parents picking up their children. Also he greets me by my name, and this is very respectful and I think very good customer service.

Hudson absolutely loves kinder, although he has missed some friends and teachers during the Covid lockdowns period. He has loved Ratna teaching about the Solar System and is intrigued and tells me daily what he knows. I am surprised at his knowledge and recollection! I know he is highly stimulated at kinder and always comes home with lots of stories!

This place is the best daycare centre in the West! Wouldn't recommend anyone else!

I'm so disappointed with poor management here! Wasted my time today been invited to have a tour - and was turned away from the entrance as the childcare is fully booked till next year. I just keep receiving tons of annoying reminders for a canceled appointment. What's the point?
Didn't want to write all this negative stuff here, but no other childcare sends any spam after a visit. So here is my feedback.

From the moment I entered I knew we had found the right place for our son and since that moment I have been beyond happy with the change I made to his care! My son absolutely loves coming to Penguin, where he has made friends, made huge developmental improvements and been taken care of above and beyond by all!
I feel like a part of the Penguin family and I cannot recommend the centre highly enough to anyone that will listen. I am glad that my son has found a place that is like a second home.

Our family has been with this childcare facility since Jan 2012.2020 will be our last year and it will be sad to leave this beautiful bunch of women and men. The rooms are cool on a hot day and warm when its cold. There has never been a "stink' factor from the change rooms and I love that they always have fresh air coming in. The BEST thing about this childcare is - The LONG TERM STAFF. People don't stay in the same job if its a bad environment. We have had the same staff looking after both of our sons, years apart. The Turners love you guys!

Highly recommend this amazing centre!
We have been with them since 8 years and have seen them maintain their high standards of child care services/kinder programs.

The staff are knowledgeable and highly skilled. They really do treat your kids as their own and look after them with utmost care and affection.
The kinder program is excellent! They prepare your child really well for school and the transition is smooth.

Andrea and Emma are absolutely fabulous. They are very proactive and manage the centre exceptionally well!

Once again, a special mention to the staff. Each of them is simply outstanding and it is evident across all the rooms.

Cannot recommend this centre highly enough! We made the move to Penguin from another centre and we have not looked back. The staff are all amazing, including Andrea and Emma who are extremely friendly, hardworking and very dedicated. The rooms have a magical feel to them that I absolutely love. My son has thrived here in such a short time. Walking in each morning to friendly faces who know my son and the small things like a scented candle prove that this centre will go above and beyond!

If you really care about your child look for a real Good child care, don't worry about the good reviews ^ it's their staff members ^

This facility is 5 star! The staff are very friendly, welcoming and make you feel like its a home away from home. The effort put into decorating each of the rooms is outstanding and second to none. The educators really go over and above with their jobs to make the kids feel happy and nurtured in their environment. I love the beautiful candles and scents they often have at the front desk making you feel immediately relaxed upon entry. The girls on the front desk don't get enough credit for how fantastic and welcoming they are and nothing you ask is ever too much trouble! I would recommend this facility without a doubt!

My daughter loves penguin childcare she has made some amazing friends and the educators just adore her. My daughter is so happy and well cared for it makes it easier for me to be able to work.
