Pelican Childcare Coburg

I have grown to love this centre, my daughter and I have always felt very welcome here. She's almost 3/yo and has been going to Pelican childcare since she was 8/mo and not once have I experienced anything but happiness with their professionalism and honesty. The staff are amazing and can honestly say they treat my daughter the best. The atmosphere and workers and second to none. I want to say a big thankyou to Fanoula for being such a great person, her dedication towards the centre will do nothing but exceed the centre to its fullest potential. With staff like her it will keep exceeding and excel. Big thankyou to all the girls for being so awesome, have recommended so many to the centre and will continue to

I could not have asked for a better childcare for my little one. Absolutely AMAZING team, with wonderful Fanoula and Stephanie being on the top of everything. Management of allergies is excellent, making me feel safe when leaving my daughter in the morning. They always try their best for everyone, and this is well reflected by the beautiful rooms and the familiar atmosphere.

Pelican Childcare Coburg is an Amazing centre. Very friendly & helpful staff, great educators, nice playing & learning environment, and have great selection of menu for the kids (also halal certified, which is very good for us as moslems). I can see that my daughter’s skill has improve a lot in many ways since joining the centre.

Amazing staff, well organised, allergy managment is fantastic, clean, my brother love it, enriched educational program, experienced and knowledgeable. ️

We are very happy with Pelican! Our daughter loves her time at Pelican and seems very well adjusted. The girls are wonderful and Pelican are so flexible with their availability! As most parent probably are we were very nervous about putting our daughter in to childcare but we could not have hoped for a better experience.

I am working at this centre since 2011. I loved being to be a part of the team here. I decided to bring my child here as well since I love working here and I know Tamara (Manager of the centre) justifies her manager role very well. When my son Kavish (23 months old) comes, he surprises me everytime as he learns so many things here. His language skills have improved so much because of the work done by educators. Such a Fantastic job they are doing here. I am very happy to send my son everyday at Pelican Childcare, Coburg.

My son attended pelican childcare in Coburg from 12 months until 4years and we were so pleased with this centre that we decided to send our daughter there as well. She has been there for 2 years now and absolutely loves it. She loves talking about her educators, the activities she participated in during the day and it's so lovely to see the beautiful friendships she has made. It truly has been a home away from home for both our children. Highly recommend

It is one of the best centres. The educators (Lauren & team) have really helped my Son learn and grow throughout his time At Pelican. Well equiped centre, always clean. I would really Like to thank the director (Tamara) and Steph for their roles.

Issues with Pelican Childcare Coburg.

1. My son was always dehydrated and starving when he got home. He would cry for water in the car on the way home and sometimes eat 2 whole sandwiches. I understand he is an active child, but it's very important that a child stay hydrated and fed. I had voiced this previously to a carer in his room, seems it was ignored.

2. Once when my husband picked up our son, he had paint and glitter in his eye which my husband wiped out for him. The carers were all lying on couches, completely unaware/careless that this had happened.

3. When bathing my son after being at Pelican childcare, he cried as his bottom was sore. He had severe nappy rash. I looked at his underwear and it was soiled, he hadn't been wiped properly.

4. The children always look snotty and untidy.

Overall, I'm very unimpressed with pelican childcare. He wasn't actively hurt, but neglected.

I hope for the children's sake you can educate your staff on how to better look after them.
