I highly recommend Pearsons Lawyers. I went through a messy divorce in 2019. I had a business that was at risk of being taken and a lot of shared debt that needed to be worked out (no kids thankfully). The advice I received from Pearsons allowed me to retain ownership of my business while working out a fair and equitable split with my ex partner. If you're looking for a family law firm that is competant and on-the-ball, then I highly recommend you speak to Pearsons.

Leanne Abela you should be ashamed of yourself. 5 minutes before walking into court, she goes to me 'Okay Tim (not my real name), the next step is that you have to pay me $30,000 or I won't be representing you'. After asking her if we can sort it out after the hearing, she says no. I end up paying her and I end up losing millions in a case that was in my favour. Would be giving 0 stars if possible and suggest a police investigation in this business. Absolute joke of a firm.

I would not recommend this lawyers and feeling lucky I stop working with them. There is no network in between staff. I was ripped off big time within that couple of months. I went through Bani.
First meeting they Convinced me that they gonna do their best job. But after work start I simply couldnt Contact the lawyers but they send the bill on time and and no explanation why they charging the amount.
They did nothing to my case but charging. They will tell you they don’t have enough information and keep asking money.

I would not recommend Pearsons Lawyers, in particular Ms Bani Mishra. I was given a quote for a complex divorce for the amount of about $9,000.00. At the time I doubled that amount with the view that it should not exceed that total. The final cost of the proceedings was over $70,000.00. During the proceedings I frequently asked why the cost vs the estimate was escalating rapidly and no explanation was provided. Please note in the original interview with Ms Mishra, she said to me after a detailed outline of the joint assets that “there was plenty of money to go around for everybody”.

As an example of competence, Pearsonslawyers were unable to find the title of a property I owned prior to my marriage. To resolve the issue I walked to the Titles Office and was able to obtain a printed copy of the title. The staff at the Titles Office were very helpful. I walked the title document to Pearsons’ city office to provide them with the property title.

I would prefer not to give a star.
