Peachs Torquay

Shop at peaches all of the time, costs a bit more than the supermarkets but the produce is a lot better.
It is a pity that I had a poor experience there this week.
I have been buying 2 kilo boxes of cherries from them for the past 2 weeks costing $50 a box, not bad value. This week the same cherries are costing $80 a box, a bit of Xmas gouging I think.

The fresh vegetables and fruits are beautifully displayed and you will be fascinated by them.

There was a wide variety of everyday foods, and the staff were very friendly.

This is a store that makes shopping fun.

Great shop, good range and excellent service. There's not much parking, but you can usually find a spot. Definitely worth a visit.

Lots of fresh healthy food to choose from, and pretty fresh flowers, lots of parking out the front. Friendly staff. Definitely pricey though.

Without doubt the most amazing green grocer ever. If you happen to be lucky enough to live near here (we were passing through), you are definitely very lucky.
Amazingly fresh and pride in local produce. Fastidious shop. This kind of operation takes soooo much effort and a never ending commitment.
The highest of praise is fitting to a place like this.

Want quality vegetables and fruit on the great Ocean road? Then come to peachs. We buy a bag of Otway Gold potatoes for under $10, and they are the best potato for baked potato dinners. Okay they are not the biggest in the world, but group 2 or 3 together, add butter salt and cheese and it's heaven.

Parking is good, has 6+ bays as well on the street.

My FIL swears it was spelt with a E, but I rarely visit I cannot say if that is right or not.

Service was great produce is suoer fresh and the bread and premade meals are so freaking good! ️ I live closer to Werribee but make the effort to drive here for my eggs and produce

Disappointingly - right before Christmas when we are heading into events where community covid cases can sky rocket - staff here are incredibly creative with their mask use. Three young female servers amongst other staff, and not a single one wearing a mask properly and the manager (I’m assuming) wasn’t wearing one at all. Why? !? !

All you have to do to help keep your community safe is put your mask on properly. All the customers seem to understand it? ! I get that wearing a mask is tiring (don’t we all) but it’s such a joke to have it on your face and not actually doing it’s job because of sheer laziness.

I won’t shop here again because of the lack of basic care and consideration for customers and community.

Edit: went back a few weeks later to see if improved. Servers were managing to wear masks properly. People working around store didn’t. A young guy unpacking veggies had a mask under nose, then under chin and then next time I looked it was completely gone. I motioned to his face and said ‘where’s your mask? ’ He put it on but under his nose. When I said ‘you know it doesn’t work when it’s under your nose? ’, he smirked and said ‘yeah I know. ’ and left it there. Disgusting.

Peaches were beyond fantastic in helping organise a special home delivery for a friend isolating at home on her birthday. Georgie was so friendly and wonderful to deal with, she helped choose items for the gift basket seeing as we weren’t too familiar with their stocked items, and delivered the pressie to my friend’s doorstep exactly when they promised. THANK YOU PEACHES!

For people from Melbourne this store is like a mini Leo’s or Aumanns. It is gr8 for quality produce. The beans display is very different and clever. Will be back.

Fantastic selection of local produce, meats, and sundries. The store has a great vibe (the bonus samples are a plus while you shop) and the quality is fantastic.

OMG What have I been missing out on, just love it, spent over 150 in less than a week and will be back for more, good excellent condition of the products.
