Food was really good but it’s only available on the weekends and sometimes not warm or hot. Some groceries are expensive. It’s a good Sri Lankan place for food and groceries

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I buy vacuum packed cashew nuts here for snacking and gifting. Large variety of rices. Prepared food is available only on weekends, and sometimes sells out in a couple of hours!
Edited Sept 2023: I think the cashews are NOT Sri Lankan any more. The taste is now somewhat inferior, and I suspect it’s from Vietnam.

We have been going to PDA for about 9yrs now. They have a great range of food, spices and veges. Very friendly couple running it with extreme dedication. Good quality food and we have never had an issue with their stuff. My hubby is not Sri lankan and the owners have always helped him out with reading Sinhalese instructions when needed. Recommend this shop to anyone who needs SL spices or food. I have.

If you live around Werribee/Hoppers crossing and want to buy SriLankan ingredients (rice, spices, coconut milk power and many more). PDA is the place to go. Owners are a SriLankan family and very friendly and helpful too.

Edit: reply to the owner - if you have a high demand increase your staff or steamline your process so that you can serve customers instore and online. Customers in store could wait 5-15mins as they are there to buy food. Hire more staff or you will lose customers. If losing customers is alright for you all carry on with the current process.

I asked them few times increase the quality of the packet of rice but they haven't taken any actions yet. There are not enough vegies to eat the rice. Money is not everything consider people, s satisfaction. Do the business fairly.
